As always after 3rd time buying from these crooks I should have learned. Bought 5 th wheel 3 years ago for $47000 and tried to trade today and all of a sudden it ain’t worth $17000 even after I instal... See more

The worst customer service and repair…
The worst customer service and repair shop I have ever experienced. I bought a boat at Poteau Camping world that has broken down 3 times in the past 3 years. The service department will not even call me back nor can you get them to answer the phone. This should be a warranty repair on a Suzuki motor. I have had to be towed I from the lake 3 times. The failure of the motor has been the same symptoms each time. I have had it at their service department two previous times. Still fails at use. The motor has less than 20 hours on it. I am going to see is a local mechanic can fix it. The boat is in a marina and I have no way to move it.
Looked up an item online
Looked up an item online. Said it was available for pick up. It said there were 2 in-stock. MY order was cancelled and camping world said it was no longer available in store! Now if I want it I have to call.pleaee tell me its not available in store before I purchase.
If I could give 0 stars I would
If I could give 0 stars, I would. We bought a brand new camper last July, was in for service 2 weeks later for a non-functional air conditioner. They gave it back and said "actually, its fine". Turns out it wasn't working because the ducts weren't connected to the vents so the air was just blowing into the abyss. Brought it back and showed them, they taped it.
Fast forward to this June when we took it out of storage. Every seal was cracked or torn, the underbelly had a huge gap that allowed in a mouse despite the same mouse-proofing we've done for years with our old camper, a window leaked because of a gap in the seal which leaked into the camper and onto the dinette which caused water damage. All of these issues were brought to their attention and we are now on the 4th service visit because nothing has actually been repaired in the first 3 visits. They left a pack of cigarettes in my camper during its time in getting "serviced", they "repaired" the torn seals with flex tape, didn't reattach the trim because "there's nowhere to connect it to" and refused to do anything about the water damage that will 100% cause mold. Not one person at camping world has been helpful. I will be filing a complaing with the better business bureau and will be using my professional connections (luckily I manage media relations) to contact local news. Camping world should be immediately forced out of business, they aren't just inconveniencing my life, they're potentially causing harm to my family by allowing all of these issues to go unfixed. I should have just bought a tent with a waterproof cover because at least if that failed, I'd only be out a few hundred, not $50K.
Oh, and I might add that this is all during our initial warranty period, now kicks in the extended warranty I bought for $10,000 that will clearly never pay off because no one knows how to do their jobs or how customers should be treated.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE
The most antiquated, rude and totally lacking - customer service experience. I will never, ever buy ANY products from Camping World. Their online customer service and store transparency is glaringly lacking., the company is unconcerned about customer satisfaction, they could care less. Bottomline, buyer beware.
Do your homework before going to Camping World for service
I have an older class C RV. My Norcold fridge went out and it had to be replaced. I called Camping World in Albuquerque. I was told that they couldn't order the replacement fridge for me. I had to order it myself at their website. I asked, so I order it online and I just have it shipped to you and you do the install?? I was told yes. So what is the cost for the install? I was quoted a price of almost $3,000 for JUST the labor for the install and that did NOT include the labor cost for the removal of the old unit. That was extra. I was also told that there would also be a shipping fee of over $200, plus sales taxes. Are you kidding me? I ordered the new Norcold fridge (same model) from another online supplier (3 - 5 day ship time) for less than camping world AND the shipping was FREE and no tax. I had an Albuquerque based, certified RV tech come to my home in Santa Fe (no need for the time and gas to go to Albuquerque). He did the removal of the old unit and the install of the new unit for $750 (and that included the trip charge) vs. the minimum $3000 quote from Camping World. Frankly, if Camping World doesn't want to do fridge installs, just don't offer that service but to charge 4 times the going rate is an obvious attempt to rip-off the unsuspecting customer.
The worst company I’ve ever experienced
I have never had a positive experience EVER with this store or company. Despite spending thousands on an RV, multiple parts purchases, and in-store or online purchases… this company treats me like dirt on the bottom of its shoe. They seriously are the most ignorant and disrespectful people in the entire RV industry. I’ve been lied to right to my face. Lied to by their customer service, and most recently customer service is purposely ignoring multiple emails I have sent about the absolute mishandling and mismanagement of an in-store pickup order. I’d also like to add that camping world has never once tried to make-up for their horrible service and terrible attitudes; they never apologize, they never try to remedy, rectify, make amends or compensate for ANY type of negative experience. It’s amazing they’re somehow still in business.
Worst customer service ever
This company going out of business would be a blessing. No customer service, poor installation of equipment purchased. Complete and utter disregard for customer satisfaction. STEER CLEAR OF THESE PLACES
Dishonest
At the Ridgeland dealer the parts department raised the price of parts for my truckbed camper tiedowns even though the company they ordered them from doesn't make them for my truck which I had to look up myself. Waited 5 hours for them to tell me that they wouldn't work. Took me 5 minutes to look up online to get the information myself. Two months later I tried to call and get a trade in value on my camper and purchase a new camper and I have yet to hear back from them. I can't believe that they have been allowed to do business this way. Not sure of exact date in June.
Stay far away from camping world
Stay far away from this company. There is nothing ethical about them. DO NOT use their consignment program. It is nothing more than a scam. They give you an offer then nickel and dime you and make things up in order to purchase your camper for next to nothing. If you think this scam is worth persuing and you actually get a call from carley quick (regional consignment manager) hang up and go get your camper from the dealership. She is absolutely worthless and clueless. I can give countless examples and I have plenty of examples documented in emails that show how unethical camping world is.
Well just went to pick up our RV that…
Well just went to pick up our RV that we dropped off at Georgetown Camping World back in March just to get the awning replaced. We got tired of being told someone would call us back the past few months even having corporate say the same thing and not calling back so we just drove the 1 hr and 20 min and got it not knowing what the status of it was. Apparetlntly it was done for a month and a half but they told us everything from people quitting to a heart attack. We looked it over real quick and left. Once we got home I plugged it in and I got a shore power fault and it wouldn't power up. I know when we dropped it off we had it plugged in the day before with no issue. This is a 2024 so it's not because it's old. This is a nightmare that just keeps getting worse.
DON’T BUY A CAMPER FROM CAMPING WORLD!
DON’T BUY A CAMPER FROM CAMPING WORLD!! I purchased a 2024 brand new Flagstaff Microlite camper in 2024 from the Kissimmee Fla store. At first I was very happy with it. It seemed to be a very nice unit.. Now I am having terrible problems with the Magic Chef refrigerator. It does not stay cold. I have followed the recommendations of keeping the food away from its vents and not putting a lot of food but twice now I have lost the coolness and had to take everything out and buy an extra refrigerator! THIS SHOULD NOT HAPPEN IN A 2 -3 year unit! I have called them. I donot have a big truck to haul the unit in so I have to have them come to me. They charge $250 just to come! (I am living locally so it is not far). Then they charge $250+ for labor! and they cannot come for more than a month! Terrible terrible service. I have also had trouble with the ac unit as well. This is the biggest mistake I have made to purchase an RV at Camping World. The manager says if you have a problem please talk to him but you can’t get through to him to talk to him! The unit cost me a LOT OF MONEY and I am still paying it off. What a mistake.I am very troubled and have had a lot of problems but once the warranty is out they do not help you at all .
CW know Customer Service
I'm seeing a lot of negative reviews but, CW did right by me. Warrantied and item when they didn't have to. One little part broke, they sent me a whole new.
Thanks CW.
Very Disappointed
I was going to order a Dometic FreshJet 3 Series R32 RV Air Conditioner
Item #157407 Color White BT U 15,000 from their website, I chose the option to pick up in store at the Concord N.C. location and the site noted One Left in Stock so because I am almost 2 hours away, I called to verify it was in stock. The associate I spoke with looked and confirmed it was in stock and had it pulled out for pickup when I arrived. When I did arrive the associate I spoke with had already left and the associate behind the parts desk informed they were in the process of installing it on an RV, as you would imagine, I was in pure disbelief and disgust that this could happen, the only option I was offered was to order another one which I could have easily done from home or I could purchase another model that was the wrong color, different model number and much more expensive. I chose neither option and will purchase from another supplier that is more conciencience of their customer satisfaction and commitment.
The absolute worst experience
The absolute worst experience. They sell items that aren't even shipped by this company. Companies that they sell items for are outside vendors who don't even ship within a decent time frame. You place your order and you wait two weeks before they even ship your order. Absolute worst don't purchase from this stupid company camping world
Buyer beware
Well, let’s start off in uxbridge first time campers we went in asking if we find a camper anywhere can we get it shipped here he said yes I said how much does it cost he said it is free. We went in looking at 5th wheels but I changed my mind wanting a traveling trailer because our truck was set for that. When finding a camper in New Hampshire he sent me an estimate and it had a $750 pick up fee on the bill. So they lost our service we went to west Boylston where we were able to walk through the 2026 I went with the 2025 as it was 4k cheaper. Well boy did I get sold a fraudulent trailer. None of the appliances match the manufacturer model and serial numbers. There was 12 things wrong when I got it onsite after having looked at it appears a tree may have fallen on it they threw it back together probably thinking who would figure it out. Well thank you father God you brought to my attention. We didn’t even get a walk through on the 2025. Taking advantage of people isn’t right. But I will be getting a brand new trailer as I contacted Massachusetts AG and they can fix it or I can get a new one. With the pain and suffering my family is facing because of a junk trailer I bought because they didn’t disclose they changed everything. The problems are only getting worse now. Best thing is if you don’t notice this and you try to get your camper fixed Forrest River said that nothing is under warranty now. But the people at camping world say it is. This is why so many people get claims denied saying it not under warranty.
Camping world will fix it all but they have to get prior approval and with them changing things it would get denied. I don’t want anyone going through what we are

Camping World Greenfield,IN
Camping World Greenfield,IN (formerly Mt. Comfort RV) - Couldn't even look at campers without them requiring your information. I don't want to be bothered or blown up by a salesman. I simply wanted to look at campers without having to give out any personal information. Will choose to buy elsewhere.
I recently had a great experience with…
I recently had a great experience with Camping World, and I want to give special recognition to Dom Cameron. From start to finish, the service was professional, efficient, and genuinely helpful. Dom took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions without rushing, and made sure I felt confident in my decision.
The overall process was smooth, and the team worked together well to get everything handled quickly. It’s rare these days to find someone who combines product knowledge with real customer care, but Dom absolutely delivered on both.
I left feeling valued as a customer and very satisfied with the experience. I would definitely recommend Camping World and especially Dom Cameron to anyone looking for honest, straightforward service.
I purchased an RV at Bowling Green…
I purchased an RV at Bowling Green Camping World believing I was dealing with a reputable company. Within 7 days, we discovered serious hidden roof damage that resulted in over $7,000 in repairs to the roof that clearly had prior damage and the prior owner confirmed it.
However, even with evidence showing the damage existed before the sale, the “as is” contract protected the seller.
I may have lost in court, but I hope sharing my experience helps someone else avoid making the same mistake. I’m sharing this simply so others do their homework, inspect carefully, and understand that trust in a major company name does not always equal transparency.
Please carefully inspect EVERYTHING before buying from Camping World. Bring someone along that is knowledgeable in RV’s and don’t trust their salesmen.
The picture of our roof upon opened up is on their Bowling Green Facebook page. Lots of long term damage they tried covering up with new caulking …
I was pestered to come in telling me…
I was pestered to come in telling me they could guarantee credit so I did was denied credit and they have gave me the runaround on getting my $1500 deposit back. I would not suggest dealing with them at all. They just seem to be concerned about the money factor and that is it. They are horrible people just supporting the corporate greed of America. That’s wrecked us. I will sue and bring up a lawsuit if they do not give me my money.
