If I could give 0 stars I would
If I could give 0 stars, I would. We bought a brand new camper last July, was in for service 2 weeks later for a non-functional air conditioner. They gave it back and said "actually, its fine". Turns out it wasn't working because the ducts weren't connected to the vents so the air was just blowing into the abyss. Brought it back and showed them, they taped it.
Fast forward to this June when we took it out of storage. Every seal was cracked or torn, the underbelly had a huge gap that allowed in a mouse despite the same mouse-proofing we've done for years with our old camper, a window leaked because of a gap in the seal which leaked into the camper and onto the dinette which caused water damage. All of these issues were brought to their attention and we are now on the 4th service visit because nothing has actually been repaired in the first 3 visits. They left a pack of cigarettes in my camper during its time in getting "serviced", they "repaired" the torn seals with flex tape, didn't reattach the trim because "there's nowhere to connect it to" and refused to do anything about the water damage that will 100% cause mold. Not one person at camping world has been helpful. I will be filing a complaing with the better business bureau and will be using my professional connections (luckily I manage media relations) to contact local news. Camping world should be immediately forced out of business, they aren't just inconveniencing my life, they're potentially causing harm to my family by allowing all of these issues to go unfixed. I should have just bought a tent with a waterproof cover because at least if that failed, I'd only be out a few hundred, not $50K.
Oh, and I might add that this is all during our initial warranty period, now kicks in the extended warranty I bought for $10,000 that will clearly never pay off because no one knows how to do their jobs or how customers should be treated.
