I have had my Bosch dishwasher since 4 October 2025. It is quiet and in the main cleans well. However, the lower rack does not hold the plates in a stable fashion allowing slight movement resultin... See more

Exactly one year after purchasing our Bosch dishwasher (SHP65CM5N), it required a major service call resulting in over $650 in part replacements. This level of unreliability from a premium brand is highly disappointing. We outfitted our entire home remodel with new Bosch appliances, and this experience leaves us incredibly anxious about the longevity of our choices. Based on this premature failure, we can no longer trust or recommend the brand. This will undoubtedly be our last Bosch purchase.
DO NOT BUY! My washing machine is less than three years old and I was just told by the technician that it’ll cost £650 to fix. The motor is not working at all. The quality is awful and shouldn’t last for 3 years. I have other Bosch appliances with issues so I’d advise everyone not to buy anything from Bosch. I asked for this to be replaced and my request was declined. Do not buy guys

I have my oven trip, I call the technicians to come down. Was quote 95dollar for quote.
They come down, took the s/n number then follow by asking me what is the fault I face, quote me a 450 without opening up and check.
What's the point when they can quote me on phone, just to earn my 95
Never ever ever will I buy from Bosch again. After ordering online, I was sent a completely different product. The customer service experience was farcical. It has taken 3 months and me threatening legal action to get a refund. There is no way to escalate issues and the responses on email are standard non-specific cut and paste answers. If I could give no stars I would.
Customer service is woeful.
Products are good but just done order direct! You will struggle to get a refund.
Awful American fridge freezer. Replaced my worn Samsung with a Bosch side by side American fridge freezer with ice and water. Worst thing I ever did. Firstly it looks cheap. The internal single light is a bright cold light and as it’s on the top it means when full the lower shelves are dark. You need to turn a light on in the room to see inside! The water and ice control panel is awful. It’s a one screen touch control so when you want to move between ice and water you will also always activate the temperature control so every single time you select water or ice you also raise or lower the temperature of the fridge and freezer and then have to reset this. Kids use the water and ice and of course change the temp each time. No way to isolate the temp control once set. The ice maker is terrible and won’t produce anywhere near the ice you use per day and as such have to top up the ice bucket with bags of supermarket ice.
I plan to scrap this 12 month old appliance and replace it with anything other than a Bosch. Did the person that designed this have any experience at all?
Terrible
Pressure washer Universal Aquatak, Absolutely hopeless, what a piece of JUNK, used for 1 hour initially then 20 minutes into second use it failed…..Service was even worse! returned it to Bosch for repair only to be told it was 3 days out of warranty, repair would cost £100!!
Bosch is definitely not what Bosch used to be IMO.

Rotten company only interested in selling and making money. Customer care is zero, customer satisfaction is zero. Bought an impact driver 18 months ago, actually it was a gift, and Bosch are refusing to repair it for free u dear their so -called 2 year warranty. Pathetic and greedy multi million pound company. My advice is buy elsewhere
I’m extremely disappointed with Bosch. The dishwasher I purchased was sold as new, yet it had a hole at the bottom that someone had clearly tried to patch up. The Bosch engineer confirmed this, but since then Bosch has been evasive and unclear about what they can do to help me obtain a refund. I should not have to chase two companies for a basic resolution to a product that was never fit for purpose. This experience has seriously damaged my trust in Bosch’s quality control and customer support.
Very disappointed and would no longer recommend Bosch. I had an old indesit that was really cheap new -soldiered on for 10 years without a problem and cleaned everything brilliantly. when i changed my kitchen i gave that away and got an expensive bosch - it does not clean well! it does not even get tea stains out of mugs - i mean new stains from one use, not old ground-in stains. lots of things, inc cutlery and plates need to be washed up after running the machine. I now have to examine everything before i put it away. and yes it has detergent, salt and rinse aid in it. and yes the filter is clean.
Bought a Bosch vacuum cleaner from Argos and found that the dust container was missing! How is that even possible and how on earth did that pass quality control??
Argos were brilliant and gave a refund immediately. Ended buying another brand. So disappointed! It was meant to be a gift so just as well that I bothered to check the box.

Yet more problems trying to register a product. Picture of the plate with the required numbers on sent and it says successful but can’t find the product. Tried putting the numbers in myself, same problem. Rang their helpline, should be not very helpful line, but because it’s a small appliance it can only be done online and it rings off! Now I have the internet despite being an OAP, which many do not. It’s a joke!

Our 85 year old neighbour asked if we could help him claim his Bosch 5 year washing machine warranty, so we obliged. At the outset it said you could register with a mobile or email. Fortunately he has just recently bought a smartphone which we’ve assisted him with.
We began the process with the qr code and verified the mobile number and provided the requested details. After completing this information it would not allow further progress without an email address. In the end , to complete the process, I used one of my email addresses, finished the registration process and printed the warranty certificate.
Come on Bosch, you need to think this through from an elderly customer perspective! Why should a washing machine user have to own a mobile phone AND have access to email - not at all user friendly!!!
Updated
So a prompt reply from Bosch but clearly they either hadn’t read or completely failed to comprehend my review. As I said , I completed the registration process and printed the warranty certificate for my neighbour!! You need to review your processes for elderly people that don’t have mobile or email!!!!!

My Bosch dishwasher- only 3 years old- wont work! Door wont shut (tried all obvious fixes) , just wont shut so won't run!
Called an engineer- who was surprised at a Bosch of that age going wrong. Though seeing the average rating here, maybe he shouldn't be surprised!
Currently the worst dishwasher i've ever had! And I've had a few!
More info - Bosch have approached me-
not asked for much detail yet.
We'll see what happens!

I bought a bosch ergomix 600 blender with mini food processor attachment. However the lid of the mini processor is wipe clean only. So if I make a mayonnaise or anything remotely liquid, and it splashes on the top I can't wash it. Madness. Not clear on their website or instructions. Don't buy. Unhygienic.

What is quite amazing is that since my previous interaction with Bosch Customer Service just TWO weeks ago they have received a further NINE yes NINE scores of one star on Trustpilot from a whole variety of sources...that kind of consistency almost needs reporting to a Government standards agency!! I will not tell you of my further experiences with them as I gave them up and used a local guy whose diagnosis was a blocked filter caused by a £1 coin that by its condition had been there for some time. After buying Bosch all my life I will never do so again due to the attitude of Bosch Customer Service who in phone calls and voice mail messages were only interested in making money and telling me i would have to pay £109 for every visit and never related to me once as a valued customer who had problems due to the breakdown. I was simply a revenue source and I was left feeling a bit of a nuisance to their existence. They do not seem to understand that they have an attitude problem (as anyone reading these reviews can discern) and that they need training and to take a leaf out of the many companies that have suberb customer service like in my experience Ocado and Amazon, who I use regularly due to my lack of mobility. Let us hope someone at Bosch takes some note as they used to be seen as a prestige brand not a one star one.
I only gave one star because i was unable to give zero stars.
I bought Bosch appliances as i thought they produced quality appliances and would care about a level of satisfactory customer service. But this seems not to be the case and I unfortunately bought a washing machine in September 2024.
It developed a major fault in June 2025 when it was only 10 months old ( no that is not a typo). A Bosch service technician attended a a week later and it was realised a major repair was needed for which he did not have the parts and suggested we try to get a replacement machine which we did.
However despite such major repairs being required Bosch refused to replace the machine which was clear NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE OR OF A SATISFACTORY QUOTE and insisted the machine should be repaired and deemed it perfectly acceptable to leave us without a washing machine for over two weeks while waiting for parts despite explaining I had a disability which significantly impacts my mobility and that I was struggling to use laundry facilities ( not to mention the additional costs involved)

My old bosh 320c rotas decided to give up today. I cant complain I've had it over 20 years doing my lawn the local priests and lent to many people so it deserves a rest. I decided to replace and I bought the bosch 32co corded rotary 1200 as that is supposed to be on par with my old one. The box is flimsy there was no cord storage and the flimsy black plastic thing that the picture said should hold the cord in place is not fit for purpose. Fortunately I still had my old mower and I was able to remove the cord storage from that and put on the new one. My old grass box doesn't fit or I would have replaced that too. The black plastic thong that is suppose to keep the cord tidy where it is attatched to the switch on the handle is not fit for purpose. It shows a piece that should attatch to the cord to attatch the cord to cord was not in the bow. The mower is much heavier than my old one. I would have preferred a bit less machine and the safety of cord storage and cord clip to hold the plug to the cord safely. Hopefully it will last as long as my old one at least and I will use cable ties to make the cords safe. Otherwise I won't repurchase from bosh.
Very poor quality products. I bought a washing machine via John Lewis; whilst the thing does wash it collects slime under the rubber seal that marks the clothes it is supposed to wash. The seal needs to be cleaned and then clothes washed again. The machine drum also very easily becomes unbalanced and the wash cycle stops. I have also had a cordless vacuum cleaner who’s rechargeable battery stopped recharging, only an engineer can swap it out at a cost more than the vacuum, so a perfectly working cleaner went to landfill. I will never, ever buy from Bosch again, shoddy does not come close to this utterly dreadful company.
Great appliances completely let down by their software. Impossible to connect to iOS apps. Managed to connect after 10 tries for the microwave and the oven but the dishwasher never gets connected. If you are into remote usage, I would seriously think twice about buying these appliances. For such a big company to make their customers go through so much just to connect is unacceptable.
