audi -the worst car I have ever owned

The worst car I have ever owned.
Since buying my Audi S5, there has been one problem after another for approximately 14 months. I honestly do not remember a single period when everything on the car worked as it should.
Shortly after purchase, the driver assistance systems, including lane assist / side assist, were not working properly. Then the car started showing drive system errors, went into emergency mode several times, and once it even had to be towed. During the entire winter, the auxiliary heating did not work. Now there is another fault with the door control unit, and the cruise control works only sporadically.
And as if the technical problems were not enough, I have now noticed that the optional passenger seat in Nappa leather is already heavily worn, even though the car has only around 6,000 km and is used mainly for commuting to work. This is not the quality I would expect from a premium brand, especially not from a car in this price category.
The service experience has not been much better. Instead of premium customer care, I feel like I am constantly explaining, proving, waiting, and wondering what will fail next.
Audi S5 was supposed to be a premium performance car. My experience is the opposite: unreliable software, repeated technical faults, poor material quality, and weak customer support.
At this point, my advice to VW would be to stop pretending it still knows how to build reliable cars. Maybe they should switch to making disposable drones instead, because one-use products seem to be their current level of expertise. Although, with software this unreliable, even that would probably be too dangerous.
I will never buy anything from the VW Group again

Audi Financing sucks!!! Just awful

Audi Financing- no matter how nice their cars are- think twice about these thieves. They have no customer experience, robotic and will take 3 payments out of your account on specific months without even telling you that they are trying to rip you off . Think twice and pay cash - don’t deal with these rat bastards.

Audi Digital Services

I have for some two months trying to get assistance from Audi Digital Services to fix a failing connection from my phone to one of two Audi cars we own, using the MyAudi App.
The app is showing an error, indicating that I need to upgrade my subscription, which I have done and paid the required sum, but the error is still occurring. Over this two months, I have provided all the information requested by Audi, by e-mail or directly by phone, done everything the so called "customer support" has requested, but still the issues remain.
The only response I am getting is send in a a screen shot, which they have already have, together with full details of the vehicle, and issue.
As a last resort, I have requested this issue be escalated to a Manager, but the response is simply to make that request conditional to providing more information, - all of which as I have said repeatedly they have!!!! Audi have all my e-mails, AND the required screen shots!!!!
The customer service is unhelpful, repetitive, and any fix suggestions have failed, and all I am doing is going round in circles.
I suspect it is a big issue, and o-one wants to pick it up, so we are playing the bounce it back to the customer game.
The software is not working, customer support is dismissive, and all fix suggestions fail. Escalation is met with "no" unless and until I do something else.
This may be a major brand, but it is being seriously let down by a lack lustre Digital Services Customer Support.

very bad service

Not sure how they have evolved in such a large brand. Absolutely pathetic service, everytime i give my car for a service it comes back with another fault. Wiest, Darmstadt is not place to buy a car or give your car for service. if you really need a peace of mind, please do not go there or you will regret for life.

Horrible customer care and roadside is…

Horrible customer care and roadside is an absolute JOKE, they do not cover your towing as advertised, it is CAPPED at $125 LOL.

Stay away from Audi, Mercedes/BMW way more worth your money. The tech in the cars is so outdated as well. Every time you call, not one manager or associate can assist with your issue, no knowledge AT ALL. Will never own an Audi again.

NEVER BUY A CAR FROM AUDI FINCHLEY

This is the email i left them : I purchased a car from you, through PCP, I would like to know if in the first 30 days I need to tell if something it s wrong or not with the car, if yes, I would like to explain that my driver window it s having a noise when I open it fully , also I feel the car vibrating sometimes. Also the sound it s a bit squeaky and for a car with BANG AND OLUFSEN that shouldn’t happen, I let my sales person know as well from the day two, but he said 30 days needs to pasa in order for this to get resolved and warranty be in place which for me it s a bit odd, as I am aware of the consumer rights act 2015 as I am working in an automotive industry as well.

Can you please come back to me ASAP, as I tried to call several times today nobody picks up, you should have an aftersale team I guess.

Now we are in November and I had the issues since May, no manager came back, and now when I finally took the car in they keep fobbing me off that nothing is wrong with the car after another garage saw it and confirmed the issues and even I could hear the noises. HORRIBLE NEVER BUY A CAR FROM HERE, ALL MY FAMILY WILL MOVE TO BMW BECAUSE OF THIS KIND OF NEGLIGENCE! I AM GOING TO MAKE SURE ON SOCIAL MEDIA THAT NOBODY GOES TO THEM AND REPEAT THE MISTAKE I’VE DONE

SHOCKING customer service.

Great cars but absolutely terrible customer service. Had my car booked in for the same recall twice. First time they hadn't ordered parts and then 4 days before next appointment sent me a message saying that they wouldn't cover the recall work because the car was a import. Any excuse to get out of doing the recall work. Surely a recall on a Audi is covered globally? SHOCKING !!!!!

Owner of a recent Audi A6 not happy

As the owner of a recent Audi A6 I can without a doubt say that they are unreliable as a company as a whole. My car is riddled with programmed errors which they refuse to clear and are asking me to fork out money for a part that is clearly working fine.

The whole car is fitted with electronics on everything, including the battery which is ridiculous, when you change the battery you have to inform the car of the new battery or it won’t accept it.

The dealerships are useless, they broke a part and made me pay for it, let the battery run dry and you guessed it, made me pay for it. Now they want another grand to change the alternator which is giving the digital error but actually starts fine, so it’s just a scam.

Their importer is even more useless than the brand, they know nothing and admit to nothing.

I am going to put them in court as this isn’t the first Audi I have but it is the first I bought new and they have these programmed errors which just drive me up the wall.

Don’t buy Audi unless you like throwing money away after short period of time, the car is not even 5 years old and it’s giving all these issues, not normal in a high end car. I like the way it drives but their after sale service and these programmed errors will be their downfall.

I purchased an Audi at Leicester, JACK HENFREY helped me there. Extremely helpful, faultless service throughout the buying process. Easy and stressfree. Love the lady who makes the coffee in the Leicester Audi show room. Highly recommended. Thank you and I love my new car

Delayed delivery of new vehicle and nonexistent customer service

I have ordered a brand new Audi Q5 in January ( 5 months ago) in Germany. I still haven't received my car and I have been without a car for months now. Despite contacting the showroom and my kind sales agent and dealer's customer service, no one has been able to provide an updated delivery estimate. On the contrary, they have no idea about the approximate delivery date or status of my order. There is also no possibility or renting a replacement vehichle on discounted rate or similar to bridge the gap until the undefinite and prolonged delivery date. I am terribly disappointed with their client service attitude and lack of respect to the end buyer.

2023 Audi Q5 Sportback disappointing service

The new year has begun and it's time to summarize my last year experience with Audi Zentrum Stuttgart Böblingen. I bought 2023 Audi Q5 Sportback 40 TDI in April 2024 - 1.5 year old car with 24000 km mileage. The sale process was performed properly and fast but then my problems began.
The car was delivered with splashed oil under the spare wheel. The first "advice" from Audi was that I should clean it myself. After months of conversation and visiting different services Audi Böblingen finally cleaned the trunk in September 2024.
There are however still other defects that haven’t been removed - noisy brakes and oil level gauge problem. The noise when braking still occurs all the time even after 7000 km. The MMI oil level changes up and down many times which makes it unusable. The problem is that there is no dipstick and no other possibility to check the oil level.
The car burns the oil and I had already "add oil" indicator. 300 ml of 0w30 oil has been added and the indicator disappeared - oil level was 1/3. After driving 20 km the "add oil" indicator appeared again. After that no oil was added but the next day the indicator disappeared and the car showed 1/3 oil level again.
Both problems with noisy brakes and oil level indicator were reported to Audi Böblingen many times but Audi said everything is normal and the car is in perfect condition. In general the car is nice and I still like it but I am totally disappointed with Audi service and the oil consumption.
