Easy to use website, very good stock offer, great prices and easy check-out. Excellent company.
I have bought an item that turned out to have a manufacturing fault. I got in touch with Customer Service and they resolved the matter very quickly. A replacement was sent out. I was very happy that they saved my band practice.
bought from these clowns for years from uk, germany and spanish company. today this has all ended. the spainsh group i contacted about my order that i was waiting for and they had not sent it out 9 days after order, they say that of this 3 piece order the 20 euro headphones that were on back order and were not arriving until december they decided that they wouldn't ship until it arrives leaving the bulk of my order just sat waiting until this date, i ordered on October 24th... this is my fault they said because i didnt instruct them to send my order with out the unstocked item,, maybe if you asked me then you may have had a response but no communication in this regard. they are all little girls in the office and cry over hurty words, even though the last employee i spoke too decided to use the F-word in the conversation . so it only works one way i guess..... take it on the chin and stop being a bad company.. i would never deal with these absolute bottom feeders again. they all need to find a safe space. dont deal with this company, use independent stores
A very fast and clear system. Every subsequent step is intuitive. The turnaround time and all follow-up information are exactly as the client would want them to be.
I placed an order for an Andexinger piano bench on October 5, 2026, with an estimated delivery date of October 8. I also paid UPS the required import and brokerage fees to get my shipment through customs.
The package passed through customs, but UPS subsequently lost it. I never received the bench.
I contacted Thomann on October 13, expecting the company to take ownership of the situation and resolve it promptly. Instead, I've been given the runaround ever since. Every response essentially comes down to the same explanation: the claim is still pending between Thomann and UPS.
I understand that shipping companies lose packages occasionally. What I find unacceptable is how Thomann has handled the situation afterward. I paid Thomann for an item that was never delivered, yet I'm the one left waiting indefinitely while Thomann and UPS sort out their internal dispute.
As the customer, I should not have to finance a lost shipment while the retailer waits for its carrier investigation to conclude. Resolving the shipping claim with UPS is Thomann's responsibility. It should not come at the expense of the customer who already paid for the merchandise.
As of this review (November 4, 2026), I have neither received my piano bench nor received my refund. I've spent weeks following up, dealing with delays, and trying to get a straightforward resolution to a problem that I did not cause.
This experience has completely undermined my confidence in Thomann. A retailer's customer service is truly tested when something goes wrong, and Thomann has failed that test in my experience.
I would strongly caution other international customers about the potential consequences of a lost shipment and the difficulty of getting your money back afterward. My experience has been extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend ordering from Thomann based on how this situation has been handled.

Always love dealing with Thomann. Great customer service and always willing to help with any questions or requests I have.
I’ve been a Thomann customer for years and have placed numerous orders. I never expected to find myself in a situation like this, especially considering the amount of money involved.
I returned an OXI Instruments One MKII Black Edition worth almost €1,000 using the official DHL return label provided by Thomann. I handed the parcel over at a DHL shop and have both the shipping receipt and video evidence showing the parcel weighing over 1 kg at the time of handover. The device itself weighs approximately 950 g.
Thomann claims that the parcel arrived empty. Despite providing all the evidence I have, I feel like I’m being treated like a suspect rather than a long-standing customer who is simply trying to get a legitimate refund.
What makes this experience particularly frustrating is not just the €1,000 at stake, but the cold and impersonal way this entire situation has been handled. Every response seems to focus on waiting for DHL and their internal investigation, while my actual concern as a customer takes a back seat.
I understand that shipping issues can happen. What I find unacceptable is being left in this position, having to repeatedly defend myself and prove that I actually returned the product, while receiving nothing but generic responses and repeated waiting periods.
After years of purchasing from Thomann, this experience has completely destroyed my trust in the company. I have stopped purchasing from their website and will not be ordering from them again.
Losing a long-standing customer over the way a €1,000 return is handled says a lot about the customer experience.

Shopping at Thomann is always an excellent and easy experience! And the delivery time is always accurate and the delivery medium by Austria Post once my purchase reaches Austria is always excellent also!

I have purchased several items from Thomann now, and on each order they do not disappoint.
My most recent order, I received an item with some cosmetic damage. I simply emailed the customer support team and they assessed the damage and kindly discounted the order.
Overall, very friendly and quick to ensure you are happy with each purchase. With a good handful of UK based music stores available, I continue to choose Thomann as they genuinely have a better choice of equipment, their delivery time and customer support.
10/10 would recommend.

A month before the warranty expired, I had a critical (and expensive) component in my column speaker replaced. As a customer since 2012, I’ve shopped here quite a bit and have never encountered any issues. While I—like many others—would prefer to support local businesses, I have to give credit where it’s due: in an era where large-scale operations are the reality, it’s great to see that Thomann keeps its promises… – thanks!

I purchased a Harley Benton DC-600 VI from Thomann for nearly $300, including shipping and tariffs.
When it arrived, I discovered that the string action was approximately 3 mm or higher at the 12th fret on both E strings, despite the Tune-o-matic bridge already being lowered to its absolute minimum height.
I contacted Thomann with photographs and measurements, explaining that I had no remaining bridge adjustment available.
Here is their complete response after their guitar technicians reviewed my photographs:
"Dear Customer,
Thank you for your patience.
Our guitar technicians have reviewed your photos. They confirmed that the string action looks completely normal and there is no defect.
Please note that the string action needs to be measured from the top of the fretwire to the underside of the string at the 12th fret. For this model, the factory string action is:
E6 string: 2.25 mm
e1 string: 1.80 – 2.00 mm
Please also note that not every guitar is designed for a super low string action.
Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions.
Kind regards"
I find this response extraordinarily condescending.
I expect an electric guitar to be capable of very low string action. If a particular model is not designed to accommodate low action, that limitation needs to be disclosed on the product listing BEFORE a customer purchases it.
How exactly was I supposed to know that this guitar supposedly wasn't designed for low action? Nothing on the product listing warned me of this limitation.
Furthermore, their own stated factory specifications are lower than the action I measured on my guitar, even with its bridge completely bottomed out. Their technicians did not explain this discrepancy or identify any adjustment that would allow the instrument to reach their own specifications.
Instead, they explained how to measure string action and told me that not every guitar is designed for low action, as though my expectations were the problem.
I would never have purchased this guitar if I had known that it might not accommodate the setup I require.
I'm extremely dissatisfied with both the instrument and Thomann's handling of my complaint. While I am very pleased with the BZ-4000 II NT I bought from them last year, this experience has convinced me not to purchase from them again.
**UPDATE – Following Thomann's response to this review:**
Thomann has now publicly explained that "not all electric guitars are designed to handle low action" and that these limitations are not generally advertised.
This completely misses the point of my complaint.
Their own technicians provided factory action specifications of 2.25 mm on the low E string and 1.80–2.00 mm on the high E string. My guitar cannot even achieve those measurements with the bridge lowered as far as it will physically go.
Furthermore, other owners of this exact model report achieving low action, including customers reviewing it on Thomann's own website.
Rather than investigate this discrepancy, Thomann has repeatedly maintained that my instrument is functioning as designed. Their technicians reached that conclusion from photographs without physically examining it.
I've also repeatedly asked Thomann to explain an apparent contradiction in their published return-shipping terms, which their customer service representatives have failed to address.
Their response to this review acknowledges that their explanation doesn't account for the discrepancy I've identified, yet directs me to another email address to explain my experience again.
I have already spent considerable time documenting this problem, providing measurements and photographs, and explaining my concerns to their representatives.
My complaint is not that I simply dislike the guitar. It is that the instrument cannot achieve Thomann's own stated factory action measurements, and nobody has adequately explained why this is supposedly acceptable.
I will update this review again if Thomann provides a substantive explanation or satisfactory resolution.

I am a new customer and I will probably contact the "Branded Company" directly and buy their products instead. Their customer service one thing connects to another, others became very uncertain and connected again and again, it seems like no one wanted to work ?? just with a request for a single product ? even the description on their page they could not answer how big is this product and so on and took hours for me to give up their terrible service for good !! NEVER AGAIN THANKS R I P !! 💩💩💩☠️🫵🕸️🪳🪦⚰️⚱️🤮🤮🤮

I absolutely Love Thomann. I buy their DIY electric guitar kits. They represent very good value and are actually quite well made despite the really competitive price. As a guitar tech I really do enjoy assembling these kits. The last one I built was the PRS style and the woods used were just excellent. The description says Rengas wood but for all the world looks like Alder to me. With just a light sanding I applied a resin based clear gloss lacquer and it turned out just perfect. You couldn't even see any joint lines. Maybe I got lucky. I just ordered another so we shall see. Well done Thomann.

I have been a loyal customer of Thomann for over 3 years, spending more than 55,000 PLN (approx. €12,500) on various equipment. I have always trusted this store, but my recent experience regarding a warranty claim completely changed my perspective.
A piece of equipment I purchased suffered a major failure. Because more than 6 months had passed since the purchase, the store strictly refused to offer an exchange for another unit with an additional payment on my side (a simple commercial gesture I fully expected as a high-value customer). Instead, the item was sent away for several weeks. It eventually came back with its entire electronics replaced, leaving me with serious doubts about its long-term reliability and future performance.
Following strict procedures instead of valuing long-term customer loyalty is a poor business strategy. Due to this rigid approach, I have decided to take my business elsewhere and will be spending my next few thousand euros at a competitor's store. If you are a professional customer looking for flexible partner-like treatment, you might want to reconsider.
