The filet knife I received seem to be high quality I may be spoiled as I bought shun kitchens knives and the filet knife isn't a third the price but mine was very dull and the shuns were so much sharper maybe mine slipped by but in the future I would like to see a sharper one if I buy another

Ordered 2 knives to try something different because I love cooking. The 1st one is the santoku explorer series, I love the shape, the weight, the look , the handle is comfortable and it is very sharp. The 2nd one I purchased was the 8" chef knife explorer series also. Also very nice and and sharp. Both knives came individually in a nice box and shopping was very fast considering that I'm on the opposite coast. Cost was very affordable.I recommend this product

These knives are amazing. The leather case is perfect. They hold an amazing edge. I honestly can't find any issue with any of the knives I bought. I will have every knife in my set. You can't buy a better knife.

Great product I have 3 of your knives and love them all strong sharp and the edge lasts a long time before having to tune it up. The appeal of the knives was what caught our attention, and the price seemed good. I'm not someone that knows anything about knife weight and whatever other characteristics people care about, so I can't leave an educated review on the effectiveness of the knives; however, what they did do is make me want to cook more, and actually do it well, and those are two qualities of cooking I've never been inspired to improve at. I don't know why having a few of these knives in my kitchen would make such a difference, but it's gotten me reading books, which is a feat in itself. Thanks Forged Blade, you make awesome stuff!

I'm absolutely thrilled with the Explorer set! The santoku knife and chef's knife are both fantastic and allow me to slice through meats and veggies like butter. The bread knife is also excellent and slices through everything from crusty bread to juicy tomatoes. The wooden handles are beautiful and comfortable to grip, and the set comes in a sleek and stylish package that really impresses. The only downside is that I wish the explorer collection included steak knives as well. Overall, I highly recommend this set to anyone looking for high-quality knives that will elevate their cooking game.

The experience with this company has been hands down great. Great customer service, even on Christmas Day. Being a business owner myself I commend the promptness and customer service. I received my knives and I’m absolutely blown away. The quality of the blade and sharpness far exceeds what I expected. I will definitely be ordering more in the future to replace all my kitchen knives.

Excellent knives, great price. I ordered 6 knives, one for each of my family members, and one for myself. The Christmas day deal was buy 2 get 1 free, so 6 knives for the price of 4... Then when I received my package in the mail, there was an extra knife in there with a hand written note saying,"here's a gift, Merry Christmas!". As far as the craftsmanship, they are very cool looking, cuts vegetables fruits meats and even your finger tips paper thin with ease if you're not careful. If I had one complaint it's that on the website it looks like the knives are very rustic, with that blackened steel look, but up close is evident that that's just printed on after being forged and sharpened, but that's pretty minor, they're super sharp, still look way cooler than any of my other knives feel great in the hand and cherry on top is that the company's from BC where I was born and raised and still live today

I got a Forged Blade Chef Knife for Christmas this year and when I first opened it I was so impressed with the craftsmanship and detail of the knife. It was razor sharp out of the box. Now being a unknown knife brand to me I had my reservations but through the first few uses it was great and the weather shroud is an extra nice touch. Now shortly after getting it the handle got a slight wobble from the tang, not much and not terrible but for a new knife I was very let down. I reached out and received very quick customer service from Katie who immediately free of charge sent me a new chef knife and I was allowed to keep my some what janky knife. The new knife arrived and is in great working order with no issues. It is unheard of it feels the level of customer service I got and how understanding they were. I will with out a doubt be a customer as long as they have the knives to fit my needs, I would recommend anyone check them out getting into some what exotic knives for the price, customer service and warranty.

I purchased a 5 piece knife set for my husband for Christmas and we absolutely love it. Had a small issue with the pairing knife handle cracking so I contacted the company to see what could be done. They were fast to email me back, within 2 hrs of my original email and explained that this definitely shouldn't have happened. They shipped me out a replacement in less than 12 hours from my original email....absolutely stellar customer service! Highly recommended these guys, they are top notch to work with and put out an exemplary product!
