Could not praise this company enough. From the start Danny explained everything about the insulation, the girls in the office if I had any questions and the lads who installed the panels were fantastic. Left the house as they found it. Took their time to explain the App, nothing was a bother would definitely recommend

A very helpful consultant Danny, who able to answer sll my questions and arrange the details.
A very competent instalation team. They arrived on time, gave us extra advice and completed the work timely. The electricians were briliant.
The roofers do only what they are contracted for, so do not expect any extra work to be done.

Excellent end to end service from SPV Team (Nicole and Ray) they worked to provide a solution that was tailored to this home.
On the day of install, the team were professional, polite and showed great teamwork to get the job done.
Install Team Lead Paul and was really good answering any questions and made time to update on how everything was going on. The entire team onsite showed great courtesy to myself and my family throughout the entire install.
Thanks to all the lads for their grafting in completing such a neat and tidy job in confined spaces internally, and to the roofer for working his magic outside.

SPV Energy were excellent to deal with at every level. The initial assessment with Ray was honest, comprehensive and tailored to our needs. The Pros and Cons with respect to the number and orientation of panels, whether or not to install an eddi diverter and or battery storage were fully explored in an onsite visit.
The installation team arrived at the agreed time and day, completing their work (16 panels) including training, in less than 6 hours. This was achieved with minimal disruption, constant on site consultation with us and great care to the house.
The cost was very competitive ( 4 companies quoted), and support from administrative staff was also excellent.
SPV Energy were recommended to us by a friend who had a similar experience. We would have no hesitation in encouraging others to contact SPV Energy if they are considering installing Solar Panels.

Arrived on time before 8am on the appointment day, which was rescheduled to a new date at relatively short notice at our request. This was extremely helpful. I know it needed another customer to facilitate the swap but SPV accommodated it and we were very grateful.
SPV were there for the whole day up to 8pm until the job was finished. Ray, in particular, was very impressive. From delivering panels up to the roof, to installing the battery and inverter into a very tight space, to getting the whole system connected online, he and his small team did a terrific job. And everything was left clean and tidy after a long day. Well done!

From the outset my involvement with SPV was on a very personal basis. Danny spent a number of hours explaining solar and answering any questions. This turned out to be the beginning as more questions arose as I delved down into the finer details to get an understanding to make an informed decision and tweak what I wanted. Everything was answered for me.
I was provided with a very reasonable quote. At no time was any pressure applied to sign up. I looked at the quote and decided that I might as well add a couple of more panels to give me some wiggle room to try and achieve a zero ESB position. The quote was changed.
Once I agreed I was given an installation date. At the time it seemed a long way off. I set up the grant application. At this time I was dealing with the office staff. Five days before installation I got notice from the ESB that power was to be cut off for the area on the day. Panic set in and I got onto SPV and Liz said to leave it with her. She finally came back to me to tell me that she had found someone to swap a date. I was delighted.
The day of installation arrived and the installers were with us at 8 am. Had a chat and let them get on with it. Middle of the afternoon the wind started to increase and they worked extra hard to put the panels on the roof. Job done and had a little conversation about the workings of the system. They set the app up on my phone. They cleaned up and off they went. The quality of work was first class and extremely tidy. The only thing is one visible, besides the panels, is a pipe on the outside from the roof to the fuse box. The wiring in the house is actually incorporated with the EV charger wiring. The system seems to be working efficiently. The app is pretty accurate because the Zappi(EV) app is giving consistent numbers.
I have mentioned Danny and Liz but every member of staff I dealt with was professional, helpful and efficient.

SPV have submitted the documentation to SEAI for the grant.
All I can say is thank you for making it a very easy experience.

The grant was credited to my bank account without any query. So that is the whole solar implantation completed without a hitch.🥳🥳🥳

From start to finish everything was smooth..padraig called out and explained the whole process clearly. Every member of staff from beginning to end was friendly and professional. Paul and the installers turned up exactly as arranged and installation was hassle free.

SPV and Pádraig specifically were extremely helpful from initial assessment all the way through to post installation, and still getting support on the operation & setup as needed. The installation team were quick and professional and delivered a very tidy installation (12 panels, inverter and battery). Highly recommended for anyone thinking about getting solar panels.
