In general good service, easy to follow the schedule and my tutor is very professional. The time limit to use the lessons should be extended because it's not worthy to buy more lessons if you know they might be lost in one month if you don't use them.

I had an issue with my status
I had an issue with my status. I was able to speak to a real human, Tiffany after a few minutes, rather than the usual AI bot (although the bots are also useful in most cases. My issue was resolved swiftly, after explanations from myself. Normal service in teaching English will be resumed in 24-48 hours. Thank you Tiffany.

Surely, Preply is one of the best ways to level up your language skills! Of course you need to find the right teacher, but it is no big deal, with this platform it is very comfortable to book a session with tutor and find the right person. Highly recommend 👌🏻

After experiencing some problems with the service, I contacted customer support feeling frustrated and unsure whether I wanted to continue. Tiffany handled everything brilliantly. She was patient, professional, informative and completely focused on finding a solution.
She listened carefully to my concerns, explained everything clearly and restored my confidence in the service. Most importantly, she arranged a completely free trial lesson in any language of my choice—which, in my case, was French—allowing me to move forward without any further risk or expense.

The tutors are great, but the platform is not
Here's why I don't like the platform:
They make you pay for trial lessons, but don't pay the tutor for trial lessons (how is that even legal?).
They also oblige you to sign up for four lessons a month, if you have to reschedule they make that borderline impossible, and if you *can't* reschedule they just keep your money! It would be one thing if they gave it to the tutor, but they just keep it themselves.
If you're taking science or music lessons like me, maybe it's worth it to take lessons here, but if you're taking language lessons, italki has a less predatory financial model.
