Scam company that uses fraudulent charges and attempts to deny your refund requests.

Do not trust this website! I used their service for what was advertised as a simple 1-dollar trial. However, without my explicit consent, they used my payment details to enroll me in a hidden, high-cost subscription. To make matters worse, they processed the unauthorized fee as a 3-installment payment plan on my credit card.When I contacted my financial institution, they informed me that since the original installment plan was already approved, the future monthly charges could not be stopped. I was forced to cancel my credit card completely, pay for a replacement card, and accept the financial loss of the remaining installments just to prevent them from stealing more money from me.This website uses deceptive billing practices and dark patterns to trap users into unwanted recurring payments. Avoid putting your card details here at all costs. It is a complete scam!

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with PDF Customers.

I made what I understood to be a one off payment for the service. I was not aware that I was consenting to a monthly subscription or automatic renewal. A much larger amount was subsequently taken from my account, and only after the transaction had gone through and I received the bill by email did the automatic renewal appear to be indicated.

I contacted customer support immediately to explain the situation. I was told that the automatic renewal was listed in their “featured section.” However, I do not believe this was made sufficiently clear at the point of purchase, and I certainly did not knowingly consent to a recurring monthly payment.

Rather than refunding the unexpected charge, I was offered lifetime free access to the service, which I declined as this does not address the issue of an unauthorised recurring charge.

My bank has since offered to investigate the transaction, and I have also requested that my account and information be removed.

I signed up for free trial and they are charging my card

Pure criminals! You think you pay about an Euro for a single view and you, ll be charged 50 euros next each month! BTW why is there no zero-rating available??

They converted my file, I paid the small fee and then later they tried to charge me $49.95. Luckily I didn’t have the money in the account I used so it was rejected. How are they still allowed to do business? Yes we should read the fine print but in Reality who reads all of the fine print? Especially when it appears from the website that all you have to do is pay a dollar or $.60 or whatever the fee is to do this one time transaction you’re not thinking oh let me make sure they’re not gonna bill me $49 later.

Absolute scam. I wish I had researched this company before using their product. The product worked, but I was surprised to see a €49.50 charge the next month. Do not trust, do not use.

WARNING!!! PLEASE PLEASE DONT SUBSCRIBE TO THIS SERVICE. I HAD CANCELLED MY ONE TIME SUBSCRIPTION OF $1.95 BUT THEY CONTINUED TO CHARGE MY ACCOUNT WITH AN ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION FEE OF $419. TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE, I COULD NOT EVEN USE THE PRODUCT. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM AND STEALING FROM PEOPLE.

Charged my card 71.40$ without my consent then attempted to charge my card 200$ luckily was caught by the fraud department. Still fighting to get the 71$ dollars back. Scummy business.

Same with everyone else, the website clearly says one time payment and somehow auto subscribed me. I was scammed 3×69.96SGD.

Thank God I checked my bills from the mail and saw an odd transaction, they are literally like parasites eating away your money

This place charged my card $49.95 for something that I did not enroll in. I remember paying $1 to edit a document, but I did not opt into any recurring subscription or service. I don’t even have access to the network. This is preposterous and completely unacceptable, to say the least.

I have also been charged 49.95 EUR without signing up for a monthly subscription. This is a scam!

A terrible scam, don’t use this!!! They charged me $100 for practically nothing! 😭

Scammers. Tried their "free" PDF service, but got charged 350 dkr,for a subscribtion I did not ask for. Avoid this company.

SCAMMERS! I paid 50p to convert a file and this company stole my information and used it time and time again to try and take money from my bank account. I love on the breadline and thankfully there was no money to take. This company changes their name slightly to trick the banks anti-fraud technology and it works!! So BEWARE, even if you order a new card, as I did, they can still access the new account before you even receive the new card. This happened to me. I have just reviewed the original PDF.COM on Trust Pilot and clicked 'visit website', then came to review this one which is PDF.CUSTOMERS, then clicked 'visit website' and what do you know it takes you to exactly the same website. Because they slightly change the name, and the amount, they look like a different company to the tech so when you order a new card number it is automatically sent to venders so that your regular payments are not interrupted. I have several different names and I will be reviewing every single one and making sure all social media knows what they are doing. I am in the UK and the bank has said that because the company is not UK based there is nothing they can do except close the account completely. They are ruthless and greedy. Date of Experience, from March 2026 til 10th August 2026.

I used files-editor.com only once to edit a single PDF and did not knowingly sign up for a subscription. I have now discovered that €49.94 has been charged to my account every month since March. The charges appear on my bank statement as PDF dot CUSTOMERS dot COM/FILES.EDITOR.”

When I logged back into the website, my profile clearly stated “No subscription,” yet the monthly charges continued. This is extremely misleading.

Has anyone else experienced this? How did you manage to stop the charges and recover the money that had already been taken? I would appreciate any advice.
