Communication is the only thing that I think could have been better, the buying process and customer service response times were great but almost always required me to reach out first. They gave us a little care package and explained all the paperwork. Our Maine Coon came fully potty trained and he is the sweetest.

We are so happy with your Devon Rex cat from Purebred Kittens. I was hesitant about using an online platform- but we ended up having such a great experience. They had people communicating with us every step of the way, including sending us weekly videos of the cat we chose as we awaited her being able to come home.

Got 2 kitties from purebred kitties! My first choice was a beautiful Oriental named Ramses. He originated from Dream Wings oriental cattery in Ukraine. I had him fly with a flight nanny and meet me at a local airport- James, the flight nanny, was super great with communication and sent pictures along the way. While waiting for Ramses to be old enough to travel I recieved weekly update videos, and as much as I pestered customer support (which was a lot- sorry- I'm impatient) everyone was so sweet to me. I also purchased a maine coon girl, Penelope, and had a very similar expierence. Both kitties have adapted well into our home within about a week and seem well socialized. My vet cleared them as being healthy (Penelope had pink-eye, but I think that could have been from her having an accident on her first night with us), both were spay/neutered and came with a vet clearance sheet as well as a passport will all documented vaccinations and treatments. If I had room for more kitties, I would 100% purchase from purebredkitties again. While I do find that prices are higher than I would have liked, I enjoyed not having to do any logostic work or vaccination work and got the exact kitties I wanted. Worth EVERY penny.

Unfortunately, our experience with Purebred Kitties has been disappointing. We purchased two male kittens—a Maine Coon and a British Shorthair. The kittens arrived about a month later than we were originally told, with a lot of unnecessary back-and-forth throughout the process.

About a year and a half later, our Maine Coon is only around 10 lbs and our British Shorthair is barely 7 lbs. More concerning are the behavioral issues we’ve dealt with since getting them. Our British Shorthair is extremely fearful and scared of almost everything, despite the videos we were shown making him appear much more social. He also regularly urinates and defecates outside the litter box. Our Maine Coon has repeatedly pooped and vomited on our beds and barely tolerates being held, which was very different from the temperament we expected.

We have a clean home with three litter boxes and have spent over $1,500 trying different boxes, litter, locations, and other solutions without success. We understand every cat has its own personality, but considering the price of these kittens, we expected much better socialization and established litter-box habits.

We love our cats, but between the stressful purchasing process and the ongoing behavioral issues with both of them, I would not purchase through Purebred Kitties again.

It was an amazing experience. I appreciate the communication and support I received throughout the process of adopting my kitten.

My overall experience with the purebred kitties staff was great, despite there were several long awaitings from the post sale team, always with an easy going attitude responding all of my questions and resolving my doubts throughout the process.
Payment and contracts are super transparent, formal and trustworthy with them.
The only thing I would like better with the delivery could be that each of my two kittens would come in their own pet carrier and that the nanny has a better self professional grooming, maybe a corporation uniform.
Also, my kittens arrived all smashed, scared and super stressed in the same soft dirty pet carrier, and the nanny handled them to me without any care by pulling their legs.
Nanny service was on time as expected by schedule, but delivery was announced only with two days from arrival.
So far both kittens are in great shape of health.
It is a great platform if you're looking out for a beautiful healthy cat, but I think you must ne very cautious on resolving all your doubts prior to adoption.

I spent over $5,000 purchasing and transporting my Maine Coon from Purebred Kitties. He arrived already showing signs of an upper respiratory illness and has since required multiple veterinary visits. He was diagnosed with feline herpesvirus, a lifelong condition, as well as ringworm.

The ringworm spread to another one of my cats and has required weeks of treatment, extensive disinfecting of our home, and throwing away cat belongings. My elderly cat has now also become sick with feline herpesvirus-related illness and recently required emergency veterinary care and she’s actually not doing well. Showing signs of possibly needing to put her down which is breaking our hearts because she’s not recovering well.

What has made this even more frustrating is the communication. No one from Purebred Kitties ever followed up after I received my kitten to ask how he arrived, how he was adjusting, or whether he was healthy. It has also been extremely difficult to get timely responses from them.

They recently claimed I didn't report his medical concerns until approximately two months after receiving him. This is incorrect. I received him June 5 and emailed them on June 11, attaching multiple photos showing his illness and explaining that I was seeking veterinary care. They responded to that email and even stated that they appreciated that I had “sought veterinary care promptly.” I have documentation of all of this.

They have offered $1,000 as a “gesture of goodwill,” but I have asked them to reconsider after providing documentation correcting their timeline. I am still waiting for a response.

I love my kitten and don't regret bringing him into our family, but for the price I paid and the level of health, care, and customer service this company represents, this experience has been unacceptable. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Purebred Kitties.

Adopting my sphinx kitten was a dream come true! Beverly was so helpful through out the entire process!

I did not mind driving 3 hours away to pick up the new member of the family. He is perfect in every way possible 🥰 I highly recommend adopting your dream kitten with them!

We had a wonderful experience with Purebred Kitties. As first-time cat owners, we had many questions, and their team was always patient, helpful, and responsive throughout the entire process.

What impressed us most was the delivery. We originally paid for cargo delivery, but they arranged for a flight nanny to personally accompany our kitten, Mason (now Pompompurin), to Los Angeles, which made us feel so much better knowing he was being cared for during the long trip. Even more surprisingly, they didn’t charge us anything extra—we only paid the original cargo delivery fee.

Everything went smoothly, communication was great, and Pompompurin arrived safely. We’re so happy to finally have him home and truly appreciate all the care and help from the Purebred Kitties team. Highly recommended! ❤️🐾

I’m giving 4 stars because, at the end of the day, I brought home a beautiful, healthy, affectionate kitten, and I couldn’t be happier with her. If I were rating based on communication alone, though, I would probably give 2 stars.

One thing I really appreciated was receiving weekly update videos after placing my deposit. Most of my questions were answered in a reasonable amount of time, and they provide a lot of information to help prepare you for bringing your kitten home.

Where things became difficult was communication consistency. During the month and a half leading up to pickup, I communicated with eight or more different phone numbers and representatives. Every representative I spoke with was friendly, kind, and genuinely seemed to want to help, so I don’t have any complaints about the individuals themselves. The challenge was simply having so many different people involved, which led to information occasionally getting lost. For example, I had informed them multiple times that my mom would be picking up my kitten instead of me, but I still had to repeat that information several times. I also asked multiple times about what paperwork I would need or if there would be anything to sign, but I didn’t receive a clear answer until just a few days before pickup.

I also found the communication about my kitten’s origin to be confusing. During my phone interview, I asked where my kitten and breeder were located and was told the breeder was in New Jersey (or somewhere nearby). Later, I learned my kitten had actually come from Ukraine. That wasn’t an issue for me, but I do think being more transparent and consistent about where the kittens come from would help set clearer expectations for future owners.

The reason I’m still giving 4 stars instead of a lower rating is because I genuinely believe the cattery my kitten came from was an excellent one, even though that information wasn’t clearly disclosed to me beforehand. My kitten arrived healthy, energetic, incredibly confident, and beautifully groomed. She smelled wonderful, looked fantastic, and has clearly been exceptionally well cared for. In every weekly update video I received, her environment appeared clean, and she always looked healthy, happy, and comfortable. I truly believe that if she hadn’t been raised in a quality environment, she wouldn’t be as outgoing and confident as she is today. Her adjustment to her new home has been incredibly smooth, and I think that’s a testament to the care she received before coming home.

Overall, despite the communication issues, I had a positive experience. They genuinely seem to care about making the transition as smooth as possible and provide plenty of resources and guidance for new owners. Most importantly, I ended up with an amazing kitten who is healthy, loving, and everything I had hoped for.

Despite the bumps along the way, I’m absolutely in love with my little Ukrainian princess.

Very helpful staff that can answer questions to help you secure your kitty. My 7 month old showed up much quicker than I expected!

I am very happy with the maine coon kitten I recently purchased. The staff was very professional, answered all my questions and kept in contact. The kitten arrived on time with no delays. The kitten is beautiful, happy and healthy. The kitten appeared exactly as shown on the website and just stunning! I ended up using a flight nanny and was very happy with him. When deciding on picking the cargo option consider the time of year. Below 20 degrees and above 80 degrees is not an option. In the end it is the better option for the cat in keeping them calm. I recommend this company and will definitely use them again.

Purebred Kittens has been very helpful in matching us with a breeder for the kitten we wanted. It has been a roller coaster ride (not Purebred’s fault at all) and they have been very helpful and supportive. We are so excited to welcome our new kitten home soon. Thank you for all of your help! We will write another review/updated review when we have our kitten home with us.

Bengal kitten purchased died less than a week from delivery.
Kitten was diagnosed with FPV post mortem.
Feline Panleukopenia Virus has an incubation period of up to two weeks, meaning that kitten most likely came ill or acquired illness on extensive travel from Ukraine to Philadelphia airport where she was picked up on a very cold day in February at an airport parking lot.
When I took the kitten for its first vet visit, 3 days after delivery, she had a fever which the veterinarian treated with subcutaneous fluids and antibiotics.
Supposedly the kitten had its FPV vaccinations in order, so FPV was not high on the list of diagnosis. Since there were no cats living in my household nor have there ever been the only conclusion is that I received an unhealthy kitten. The kitten did not make it to its follow up appointment as it died at home. The deceased cat was taken to the vet who tested it for FPV and it came out Positive.
I requested a refund from Purebred Kitties who gave me an extensive run around despite providing them with all the medical records from the vet to no avail.
They supposedly have a "Health Guarantee" which they do not honor. They also manage to remove negative reviews from Trustpilot as this is my third criticism of my experience with them and surely it will be removed.

There was great communication and they kept us updated throughout the process.
