Dying plants. Broken plants on delivery. No respect for the product. Disappointed.

Short version:
I received 7 poor quality Quercus texana 'New Madrid' (Oak) trees. The height was as specified (120-160 cm), however the tree trunks were quite literally pencil thin, with 4 mm at the base, and the trees were generally immature, not robust and had few branches and leaves. Upon taking the plants out of the 22cm diameter pots, I discovered that the plants had a root ball from an 11 cm pot and had obviously just been potted up before shipping.
The quality of the grafts were inconsistent, with some grafts being very poor where the scion (top part) and the rootstock were not well aligned, which reduces contact between the various structures of the two plants and their ability to form good connections and form a robust plant.
I asked to return the plants and get a refund, but this was refused.

Long version:
Prior to ordering these 7 oak trees, I contacted Jesper’s Planteskole to ask if it was possible to obtain pictures of the plants I wished to order, because in my many previous experiences of ordering from them I found the quality to be very inconsistent. This request was refused because the individual plant value was not 2,000 kr. per plant or 3 meters high. Therefore, I decided to proceed with the order in good faith and thought I would have the opportunity to reject the trees when the delivery truck delivered the items, however despite being home at the time the trees were delivered without a knock on the door and just unloaded with a text message that they were delivered already.
Upon seeing the trees, I was immediately disappointed. As pointed out above, the trees and graft were of poor quality. I made a claim with Jesper’s Planteskole to return the items and get a refund. After waiting a week I finally got a reply saying that my claim was rejected. They informed me that “the trees you received are among the smallest size grade available for Quercus texana 'New Madrid'. For this size, it is completely normal for the plants to have relatively slender stems and limited branching” and “Regarding the graft, we do not see any issues with it. The graft union is only around one year old, and at this stage it is normal for it to be clearly visible”.
I disagree with this assessment and told them why in a reply. I paid 539 kr per tree, and for this price and height of tree I do expect a trunk of more than 4 mm and a root ball that has matured to the size of the pot. Many garden centers, including my local one, sell much more robust and established trees in this price and height range and I don’t think I have ever seen such a poor specimen being sold at that price in a physical garden center.
