Avoid IMG TRAVEL
I purchased the insurance because the trip seemed to be not well organized.We met all the criteria and what IMG questioned we got answers for from two MDs.The trip did fall apart to the point my wife had a panic attack and was in the hospital.So we canceled what we could and asked IMGto cover the rest. After almost a year they refused.
IMG farms out some claims to other insurance insurance firms so I do not know who had the final negative vote.
Part of the claim denial was because the condition my wife had was pre existing. Both of her doctors said that was not correct. We will not use IMG again and will encourage our traveling companions to avoid them.John Koch

IMG insurance has been easy to obtain for exactly the coverage we want. We have never had a claim so we don't know about that process.

An absolute nightmare to deal with!
An absolute nightmare to deal with when making a claim! No-one to speak to. Repeated requests for the same information - all requests and responses only by email. Delaying tactics a plenty. Now 12 weeks on and they are asking for Booking Confirmations for the entire Family group - WHY on earth would they need to know that? (Unless they are solely trying to waste MORE time?)
It might be easy to buy a Policy, but that seems to be that. What the good Customer giveth, the apparently dishonest Insurance Company taketh away. And after that...you're on your own!
Here's hoping I can recover our wholly legitimate, qualified, Invoice and other documentation provided costs.
IM Group Travel Insurance should be ashamed of themselves!
