The logistic boss doesn't even want to talk honest to the media and saying like "nothing happened - what are you talking about?" Also they have ordered bunch of AI's and auto. machines. Expensive but good service
Expensive, but overall good service and good quality in most stores.

Iam disappointed with my recent experience at ica sjövikshallen, where I was randomly asked to handover my personal bag for inspection after paying. As a regular customer . This left me feeling singled out. I hope the store reviews it's approach to customer security and communication
I want to give 0 stars
I want to give 0 stars. My wife just missed to scan one iteam, for 200kr, and she was treated like a biggest criminal in Sweden. Polise was called too, 3 hours she was sitting in Ica and answering personal questions. And all this because of 200kr. I understanding, she did a misstake, but hold her for 3 hours of this, its just not understandable. She couldnt even take kids from school. It happen Vallentuna Ica.
Where logical thinking gone or human factor?
She was so stresed out, that she had migrane for two days and couldnt do anything. This is for 200kr of the overpriced store.
Never ever coming back to this s..t store
Average
Be careful when purchasing discounted items—sometimes the discount doesn't apply automatically. I was lucky to have picture and show it immediately so it become fixed.
groceries fine, late arrival
food was all good but courier arrived an hour late. not terrible but expected better.
charged – no goods, no response
I visited ICA in Skorup on July 13th and attempted to purchase some goods. The transaction was declined at the register, and I left the store without receiving any items. However, the money was still withdrawn from my account.
I have since tried to contact the store multiple times, both by phone and by email. I sent a detailed email with the receipt attached, but have only received an automatic reply and no actual assistance.
As I live in Denmark, I cannot return to the store in person. It’s extremely disappointing to be charged for something I never received and then be completely ignored when trying to resolve it.
Very poor customer service.
They will save money
They will save money. They entice you to scan your own products, pack them and pay for them at the self-service checkout.
They save money as they don't need to employ as many staff. Hopefully some savings are passed onto the customers 🤔.
What do we as the customer get? We save time by packing our bags as we shop. We don't need to wait in a line. It's is efficient and time saving for us. Right?
So why , despite NEVER EVER mis-scanning anything wrong, failing to scan anything, or any other incursion that may suggest that I am trying to defraud them ; do they insist on scanning all the goods in my neatly packed bags so often?
I fully understand the need for spot checks. However other supermarkets simply scan 4 or 6 items and they then PUT THEM BACK IN MY BAGS.
The Tills they use to empty out all your goods are about a third the size of the proper Tills ( cashier desk)
The result is, is that you end up stuffing your shopping YOURSELF into the bags...short of space and getting short of time that you'd thought you'd saved. My last shop resulted in the cakes I'd bought be squshed , resembling sadly pancakes.
The previous time at ica maxi, one of THEIR bags broke spilling items on the ground. The cashier scanned the goods .... my goods piling up on the other side and not once was there an offer from one of the other staff , who wasn't doing anything, to help me pack things.
****** hell I'D ALREADY PACKED THEM ONCE!!
Anyway their policy on scanning items feels more like a full stop and search tactic, suspecting you might have stolen something.
Business requires two way trust. Sure check my shopping, 4 or 6 items. Don't force me to pack and repack all my shopping....I chose this option to save time afterall.
Anyway I've stopped shopping here. Use a bit of Common-sense I'd say to management.
Put yourselves in the shoes of your customers
Sorry for rant! ( ps datum for upplevelsen was 10th 11th or one of those days can't remember exactly which day)
Expired Mascarpone, Be Careful!!!!!!
I just opened a package of lactose free mascarpone and it had a layer of purple dots on the surface. I tasted it and it tasted like death. I bought it at the Ica Supermarket in Mall of Scandinavia.

A company with crazy prices and very bad customer service the people can't affordt to buy food anymore but they don t care instead they increase all the products and the government is doing nothing, the elite have no problem with cost of life but we the people we are affected ,shameful company
Customer service needs improvement
Had literally just paid for 2 packets of 1/2 priced strawberries to find a couple of rotten ones in the box. Requested an exchange for another packet, the response to which was, ”They are 1/2 price”.
So according to them, it seems perfectly acceptable to sell rotten fruit!
It depends on who you get but this assistant definitely needs a lesson in customer service.
Frustrating & Unfair Self-Checkout Controls at ICA
Dear ICA,
I have to say, your self-checkout system is becoming more of a hassle than a convenience. I understand the need for occasional security checks, but at this point, it feels excessive and completely unfair.
We get controlled more than 10% of the time—why? We have never failed a check, yet we’re constantly treated like we’re doing something wrong. Why does ICA find us so suspicious? If we’ve passed every single time, why do we keep getting flagged? This feels less like security and more like harassment.
And what makes it even worse? The complete lack of consideration for the customer experience. There have been many times when we’ve carefully packed multiple bags of groceries, only to have your staff pull everything out for control, leave it in a mess, and then walk away—forcing us to repack everything ourselves. Do you think that’s fair? Do you think that’s good service?
If ICA insists on these frequent and frankly unnecessary checks, the least your staff could do is help repack the groceries they just disrupted. Otherwise, ICA needs to seriously rethink how these controls are handled because right now, it’s frustrating, disrespectful, and just bad customer treatment.
Double price for being non-swedish-citizen.
I visited ICA in Emporia Hyllie, and after I had paid my groceries I notised I had paid double price of what was written on the big price tags.
It turned out that the price written with BIG letters were for members only, and when I asked to become a member and pay only what was written, I was declined because I was not a swedish citizen with a swedish personal number.
Of course I didn't wanted to pay twice the price as what swedish people do, so I managed to get my money back after having to sign some paper.
It felt so humiliating and I am surprised that its even legal in Sweden to practice to different prices, depending on having swedish citizenship or not.
ICA took my money and didn't send me anything
Made an order and after waiting for 2 days, they took the money and never delivered the order and after contacting customer service, they say they will not send my order because IT problem and need to wait 4 days till I get my money. Horrible service.
Now I sleep without food because I depended on ICA.
On 2024 15 august jag visited ICA…
On 2024 15 august jag visited ICA Hermodsdahl, only 5 minutes and bought two things. At the counter I was checked because went in with my shopping trolley as I and others do with other store without any problem. Not here.
The person at the counter run out on me both verbally and physically stopped my way as if I was the biggest thief in Malmo who had to be stopped. She talked with me like with a dog, and at the same time she was yelling through the store for help, to further humiliate me before other customers. She played up with a nasty way,so I told her to refund the items I just payed for, untill the help arrives because I do not want to buy anything here any more. Than she said I did not payed for those items, to complicate her issues even further.
Finally the help arrived in three person, one of the security. Two other person (who I new from before) searched through my items and of course I showed up all my receipt also.
Before I left forewer I told to the security that I was customer of this store for eight years and never stole anything. So at this stage I feel abused and humiliated, and they can check up on the cameras also what I am telling is correct.
Also that the person behind the counter behaved mentally disturbed.
Finally I suggest to ICA Hermodsdahl Malmo store change their security practices and a person or more rotating, should check the security cameras and take those who steal in the reality- if they have issues with that- and leave alone those who do not. It is very annoying have someone in our back all the time, as it is the case "normally" in this store, even if we try to ignore it.
Some of the management attitude is also wrong, when she defend herself the not available items advertised,: that customers should bake it themselves for that low price.
Not wonder that personnels face is down instead of up as it rather was before.
Not talking about the often 5 plus kronor higher price per item and the often low quality items.
Worst online customer service
Toxic customer service attitude
Visited Ica kvantum hornstull, it's seldom I have Seen more Toxic attitude from a cashier. She just hates people! Put this girl back to training right now!
