I cannot rate these guys highly enough. When my home was falling apart and my emotions were shot, this team were SO caring and supportive. They blew away all the negative stereotypes attached to insurance companies. Informative, supportive, easy to contact, knowledgable, kind……superb service. We had an unusual situation with two claims connected but a week apart AND either side of insurance renewal! Our personal rep took both cases and nurtured me through the whole process seemlessly.

I got totally caught out by a default auto-renewal. My fault, yes, I hold my hands up, however only went over the cooling off period by a week before noticing, and still got slapped with the full £50 cancellation fee. Left a bad taste. A wee bit of flexibility and common sense would not go amiss. A classic instance of 'computer says no', even though I was conversing with who I believed to be a human being. Maybe it was a chatbot? Either way, the disappointment stems from profit being put before gestures of good will.

Easy to contact and get straight answers
Applying for new insurance policies there are sometimes questions where the answer is not clear -cut. I was able to get further and better information from Saif in Chat and likewise make sure I was being totally transparent about my situation with Homeprotect, with a transcript emailed to me for my records. I don't think I have ever had a better experience with a new insurer and it was very reassuring- just the sort of folk one wants as insurers.
