Used them for a remortgage and initially the experience was positive - quick and helpful replies. They said they would keep an eye on the mortgage rates and tell me if they changed in my favour before the new deal started.

Alas, they did not do this and when I noticed an improved rate, they said it was now too late to make the change worthwhile. Had they have actually kept an eye on the rates for me, I would now be paying less on my mortgage...

Also, they offered me £50 cashback to go via them. This gets paid through a questionable looking Wise transfer which, if you haven't used Wise in a while, causes all sorts of AML issues.

Overall, wish I didn't use them and wouldn't use them again.

Everyone at Habito is super helpful and very knowledgable, they answered all my questions quickly and clearly.

After seeing Habito recommended by Martin Lewis, especially for self employed people — I figured I’d use them to poke around the idea of buying. After 6 months of research, a lot of info gained from having a Habito account, and searching for the right home, I felt confident enough to use my account to start the process. They are amazingly responsive, very clear & helpful! Almost everything being able to be done online is so useful, as I could refer back to things or send a question any time. The Habito Plus option is amazing because as a FTB everything is already overwhelming enough, having an option to have the legal stuff done within the same account is such a relief. I’m not at full completion yet, but their site updates regularly with progress which is exciting to follow.

Lets be clear; mortgages are soul abrading, especially when it comes to the paperwork. I needed someone who could make a remortgage as simple as possible

Habito were excellent from start to finish. Tom was both brilliant at helping me select the right product, but crucially, kept on top of the process, including giving me a firm nudge when I'd forgotten to do stuff!
