Disappointing experience selling my old phone
Instead of chucking my old Samsung Galaxy S10+ (ancient tech) into a landfill, I decided to give GreenMind a try. I love the concept, and their website explicitly showed they would buy it back.
I biked to their store on Vesterbrogade and waited in line for 30 minutes, only to be told they were too understaffed to buy phones that day. The staff had their hands full (no blame on them, they were doing their best), and an employee kindly pointed me to another location.
So, I biked ~7 km over to Rødovre Centrum. Another 15-minute wait later, I reached the counter. The employee took one look at the phone and told me they couldn't accept it because “it's too old" — GreenMind has a policy that phones have to be resold within 30 days so it just wouldn't fly. Even after mentioning that their website tells a different story, the answer was still a firm no. Again, no shade to the staff, they're just following store policy. However, it does severely undermine GreenMind's mission for sustainability.
To add insult to injury, as I walked out the store, I was greeted by a poster saying “Det er lidt som pant — det hele skal tilbage i systemet igen” :/
On the bright side, it was a lovely bike ride and great exercise! I'll try posting my phone on DBA and see if I can make that 30-day limit 😉 In the meantime, I'll leave you with this:
1. Please make it clear when a store is understaffed and what that means for your customers. A single sign could've saved me a lot of time in Vesterbrogade.
2. If you aren't going to buy back older phones, please mark them as "not for purchase" on your website. That could've saved me even more time.
UPDATE: I managed to sell my phone on DBA within 24 hours.

I had to receive kompensationspenge today. I waited 40 minutes for the guy to free up, and now the personell told me they are not able to do it. It is currently 17:04. The employee said they have 2 mins left and they would have to call their boss, asked me to come tomorrow. IT IS NOT THE FIRST TIME HE DID THAT. This is absolutely ridiculous. As well, none of the other employees informed me that the boss was not present and that the boss would need to be called(they need to know that procedure).

I made an online purchase
I made an online purchase. You didn't send me an invoice, nor did they give me one in the store, the link didn't work, and now to get it from customer service I have to send tons of paperwork; it's absurd. The invoice is sent automatically and it is everyone's right to have it when you have bought something.

iPhone 15 pro max
I bought refurbished iPhone 15 pro max and soon found out that contactless payment feature (NFC module ) was not working . I asked Greenmind to check and repair, after 2 weeks they advised repair is impossible and provided gift card for the amount of purchase 😁 I exchanged it to another IPhone🤗 thank you

Both times i used green mind the items…
Both times i used green mind the items recived by post were defective.
1st phone had an error so the fingerprint recogniton didnt work. It could not be fixed in the store but the staff were nice and i ended up with a more worn replacemnt.
2nd i order a laptop and when it arrived the camra was broken. I got my money back and the staff in store was helpful but i gave up on green mind and got a refund.

All devices are checked before being sold, but with refurbished electronics, faults can unfortunately still occur after delivery. That being said, receiving defective products on two separate occasions is not the experience we want our customers to have.
