ETravelSim - Travel eSIM Reviews 

The problem with an eSIM is that you can't activate it until you arrive at your destination, so a fair bit of trust is involved. Etravelsim got generally positive reviews and was a good price, so why not? Well, I installed it when I arrived in Croatia, and I had no internet. Luckily I had activated global roaming on my physical SIM, because I'm paranoid, and I was able to order Ubers etc. Tech support confirmed I'd installed the eSim correctly, and after several hours of back and forth and multiple phone restarts, they got it working for me by doing something at their end. It was OK for a couple of weeks, but then I crossed the border into Slovenia, whereupon it stopped working. No internet. So I switched to my physical SIM again. After another few hours of back and forth with Tech Support they made a lot of suggestions and asked me to restart my phone several times. At time of writing, it still doesn't work. It tries to register with a network for a few minutes, then gives up and tells me to try again later. Maybe it will start to work again when I leave Slovenia, but I'm not hopeful, so I'll have to use my physical SIM sparingly. Even if tech support manages to get it going again, it's been a massive waste of time.
Edit: while you might be able to activate your eSim before your trip, you won't know if it will work until you arrive at your destination. In my case, it did not when I arrived in Croatia, and it stopped working when I crossed the border into Slovenia. Tech support were responsive and ultimately got it working, but the last thing you need when you're at an airport after 2 full days of travel is to be on Whatsapp to tech support for a few hours. I first used eTravelSim during my travels to India, and recently used it for Israel. The whole process from purchase to enabling to activating and using is pretty robust and simple, and the connection and speed is awesome. I will continue to use them for my future travels and have already recommended them to friends

Not bad but could be improved. Yes good value for money however website and app glitchy and double charged even when said failed try again - still waiting on refund. Lacks clarity on whether Rwanda is covered in Africa region- app says no support says yes - still unable to get it to work but does work in Uganda. Do have support on email and message but response times do vary and was left for a few hours on read with no update apology or help but next day they did come back.
Review updated when they did actually respond. It did take a review to get helpful support but pretty much resolved now. Family members still without refund after 6days when they said 1-2. They do need to improve payment system as Apple Pay and PayPal on web and app unreliable

So easy to set up this travel sim, we chose the 30 day plans with unlimited calls as we were travelling through several states here in the USA. The sims worked as soon as we landed from the UK which was such a relief after all the planning and choosing the right sims for us. The data works well and the phones were instantly available for us to use.

I,ve purchased the Antalya Turkey TraveleSim from ETravel.com second time.
On both occasions the esim coverage and reception were very good.
I got 10GB esim because I was there for one week and I am a low user of the data.
Overall I am quite happy with the 10GB deals from the ETravelSim.com.
I would definitely recommend to anybody who is travelling to Antalya Turkey to buy this esim.

The product worked perfectly, and an issue I had to raise with customer service in advance of my trip was dealt with promptly and efficiently. Highly recommended!

Ordered a sim card with phone number for USA at 9.30pm on Friday evening. According to website, it should arrive quickly. It actually took over 3 hours for the QR code to arrive. Used WhatsApp to try to contact, but had no response.
Finally arrived, so I will update when in USA whether it works or not!

Bought this for the first time traveling from the US to Europe. I had great connection throughout my trip. I even had a few days extra which I truly appreciate. Now I needed a 2nd device for installation because it's so much easier to install it with the qr code. I have shared the service with other family members and we frequently travel between Europe and the US.

I paid for an eSIM and when I tried to download it, it disappeared. Tried live chat but that wasn’t available at 10am so tried emailing. I did receive a reply but they were unhelpful and the back and forth emailing took forever. All I wanted was for them to help me retrieve the eSIM info, so I could reapply it to my phone. No help was forthcoming.

2 days later, I decided to add a new eSIM and followed instructions. My finger accidentally swiped the screen whilst activating the eSIM and lost it again.once the eSIM code is gone, there’s now way of knowing where it’s gone.

As I had no way of knowing how to speak to them, I wrote a negative review.
They then very promptly replied and spoke on whattsap. Karan the very friendly service technician patiently helped me and talked me through how to install the eSIM. It wasn’t straightforward so his help was invaluable in getting the eSIM installed on my phone.
My faith has been restored in the company.
After Customer service is so important and the company needs to improve on that aspect of their business.

Absolutely spot on this. First time using a esim and I was abit unsure at first. Should not of worried as it was brilliant and straightforward. We stayed in Alanya for 7 days and had full signal everywhere we went. Price was amazing and cheapest I could find for our needs. Be sure to follow instructions and activate in the UK. I did this at the Airport on day of travel. Remember to turn off your sim1 or sim2 and esim on and your all good 👍 We got the 10gb and 200 minutes deal and came back using about 1.5gb of data. Thank

Bought eSIM from ETravelSim website, it arrived in less than 5 mins on email (check your junk folder). I forwarded QR to another device so I could scan it and it was instantly set up.

Arrived in Morocco, switched to the eSIM and it worked whilst we were still on the runway. I choose unlimited data with no speed limitation. Worked well the entire holiday if I had signal I had data. Very happy, second time customer as I purchased on for Philippines last year also.

I was looking for a Travel eSim with real unlimited data. All other eSims containing a Fair-Use-Policy with a data maximum per Day (maybe 2GByte/day). eTravelSim provides real unlimited data. First I test it at home with a one-day order and it works well. I was able to stream videos with a total volume of more than 6GBytes. For a second test I ordered a 2-Day ticket. I was able to use the eSim like the first one. But later at the first day the eSim don't connect anymore with the ISP by any reason. I contacted eTravelSim WhatsApp support and got a reply within some few minutes. At this time there was a technical issue. 45minutes later I got a message to try it again. Immediatly the eSim connects again and worked well until my 2Day-Ticket ends. So eTravelSim fixed the technical issue.

In short word:
- truly unlimited data is a real data flat rate (I only tested 16GB within two days)
- WhatsApp support replies within some few minutes
- technical issue has been fixed within 45 minutes

So I'm very happy with eTravelSim and will used it on my next vacation.

Decided to try ESIM for US holiday and this company had the best price and reviews so opted for them for a data/call package.
Ordering and installing on iPhone 14 was so easy and as soon as landed I activated the ESIM and get a US number and 5G almost immediately.

My husband paid for an eSIM and has never received email confirmation. We have been contacting customer services for the past three days and have had no help, apart from one time when I got through to someone via the app chat and sent them a screenshot of the payment and they said they would come back to me in an hour. That was two days ago
