You did good job of getting us through process quickly.

Amerisave has a very strange process. You start with an AI robot, then with a human to work up your offer and then you’re transferred to another person to finalize. Unfortunately, we had severe tech issues on the first round and my offer was not coming through the way that it was originally expressed. This meant I needed to start over again. They couldn’t figure out how to replicate the original offer. It ended up being a multi-day process. The bottom line is that I needed a line of credit. I stressed that I did not need funds at closing and that I wanted the ability to tap into the line, if needed. This is typical for a line of credit. Everybody confirmed that would be figured out as closing. I went to closing and they set it up to send every penny of my line to my bank account. I did not have the strength to rescind and start this process over a third time. The people were all very nice, but at the end of the day when you don’t provide what a client is seeking, you’re failing. I am a former senior manager of Mortgage companies/banks - this process needs significant re-evaluation. Lastly, for a line of credit, their costs were quite high. Positive: they were very quick.

Shannon and Kristina are wonderful people who helped us through the entire process. They make you feel like you are talking to someone at your neighborhood bank you have known for years. They were available and took my calls throughout the entire process as this was something new for me. I beyond recommend them if you are looking to refinance.

Easy to work with , very helpful

I have been trying to resurface since my late husbands illness and death. Well, I guess my better judgement failed. Yes I know my scores are low. That was no secret and shared upon first communications. Speaking of communications, I received more on the app even though most were automatic. That was not reassuring. Wanna help veteran families just not this one. Strung along for a while in darkness, then one call and a “text” denial. Is that the mode of business now? The link attached to the denial did not work. I have nothing formal on status. But then I guess I had nothing anyway? Poor communications. Misleading.

I gave it a great because process was quick and mortgage specialist and loan processor were very responsive to my questions. I am disappointed there was not a set of signed documents from the closing and that they were sent out to me for review before the closing. The checks were almost misdirected because the property address covered by the heloc is not the permanent address and things get notoriously lost in the regular mail.
