Acratech is a top tier American manufacturer. I've relied on its tripod heads and quick release hardware for about 15 years across many interests (birding, amateur astronomy, video, and photo) and have many pleasant interactions with its owner Scott, including some technical ones where I had to mod some products. The product quality and service has held up 100% over this time - a rare thing in this generation.

I ordered two items from Acratech. One of the items was out of stock. Patty went out of her way to find that item from the manufacturing floor. Both items were received in good condition by 2nd Day Air FedEx. The items fit and worked perfectly on my Nikon SLR’s. The items appear to be made of quality materials and the finish was perfect. this is my second unit. my 1st unit i used it bery long time already 10 years plus. bought the new one, so i can service my previous pne for changing the rubber on the knob. this is the lightest but powerfull ballhead

You should update the description to include MA and MP as well. I Use it on my Leica MP.
Or just say it fits all current analog Leica M’s.

Acratech makes excellent USA made products. All of my camera to tripod and shoulder strap attachment apparatuses are made by Acratech including all my arca-swiss plates for my Canon digital camera as well as my two Hasselblad 500CM and 903SWC film cameras. I love the quick release clamp that allows me to detach any camera and reattach it quickly and securely to any tripod or shoulder strap. They make exemplary products.

The staff is super helpful, was able to provide the plate I needed, even though it is not listed online.

The panorama head was shipped promptly and perfectly to me. It has met all my expectations and I have already put it to use as a replacement for my ball head. Use it in combination with a tripod with a built in leveling base it has made landscapes and panoramas much easier than before.

I love Acratech equipment, and the Leveling Base is another fine example of their engineering. My current inventory includes:
