Water line repair went smooth
Signed up for the water line plan after the city sent a letter about American Water Resources and our outside line leaked last month. Filed the claim online, plumber came in two days, I only paid my share.

Very fast response to our call. We had the repairman here within 5 hours. It was an electrical issue in our garage but we needed our car and the door wouldn't open. Service man was knowledgable and professional

The sales rep gave us alot of information and even the install, what to expect. Then installer explained turn off valve on the unit and how to fill the unit with salts in 6 months where to get . HE HAS HAD HIS UNIT OVER 20 YEARS . His skin looked good .He went over the difference of having soft water vs hard again to remind us of how little soaps shampoos needed and to be careful in show bath tub ... because of slippery if we get to much soup cleanser . They were very nice .. and worked hard to get everything back to what it was . Now last step is to get my product for cleaning house , and personal hygiene for the nxt 5 yrs
All natural ingredients . . Im ready to use it and learn more .

Main water line repair
Had the unfortunate situation of a water leak in the main line for our house. Thankfully I had purchased the water line insurance several months prior. I filed a claim online and within 5 days the contractor was out at the house, identified that a full replacement was needed, and had it repaired. Easiest process I've ever experienced to use a warranty program, hands down. The timeliness and quality customer service was much appreciated!

Much better than expected
I was pleasantly surprised at the level of service from AWR. Although the wait was longer than i expected, they resolved my plumbing issue. The service provider, McAtee, was excellent. There was no back and forth about what was covered, and they made sure the problem was resolved before the plumber left.

I had hoped to never need AWR in an emergency, however we did of course unexpectedly. AWR was responsive, had an excellent company respond to our front yard water line leak the next day, fixed it without problems or hassle. I have recommended AWR to every home owner i know. Thank you!

The plumber said he couldn't fix it
The plumber said he couldn't fix it. Did not tell us what we needed. Just left. We ordered a whole new faucet and insides. Called another plumber and they installed it.

Bad Experience!!!
We have the sewer line protection, and occasionally get tree roots growing into our sewer line. Had to make a claim in June of 2026, called AWR, they dispatched a plumber who came right out and cleared the problem right away, no problem!
This time, however, a totally different experience! Our sewer line was clogged, we couldn’t flush our toilets, and when I first called, the agent tried to tell me that I wasn’t covered. After I had him double check our account he said we were covered and someone would contact us within 6 hours. I called again 14 hrs later when I hadn’t heard anything, and was told there are no available providers in my area, and I would have to wait another 24 hrs for them to find one. I called a 3rd time, when it was 24hrs since I first reported the issue and was told the same thing. Out of curiosity. I called the same plumbing service that had come out in June, asked if they still got referrals from AWR, he said they did. In fact had gotten a few that day, but NO referral for my address, yet they had availability to come out! So not only was I being LIED TO BY AWR, my family was now going over 24 hrs without being able to flush our toilets! Then I called AWR back and asked why they were not contacting this plumber for our problem. They had no answers, and they would escalate the claim. This agent did call me back a few minutes later, and now had the phone # for the same plumbing service that was able to come out. THIS IS WHAT WE PAY THE INSURANCE FEE FOR EVERY MONTH!!! I was beyond furious at this point, but very thankful that the last agent, Alex, was finally willing to help. Other than Alex, this was the absolute WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever received!!

I have sent a formal complaint
I have sent a formal complaint to your office, I paid $ 2500.00 out of pocket for a leak in my water line. The work is incomplete and has been since March. I have reached out to you over a dozen times and the matter has still not been resolved. If I am yet again ignored after you receive this formal complaint letter I will move forward to New Jersey Consumer Fraud for abandoning of project and billing for incomplete work. Everything is documented.
