🎉 We're thrilled to welcome Joel Califa to Unify as our new VP of Design! Joel comes to Unify having led design teams at some incredible technical companies, including Heap, Github, and DigitalOcean. And he hasn't wasted any time getting up to speed. He started off week 1 with creating a 250-page Figma deck (!) on how we need to elevate our user experience. Design is a core differentiator of our product, and we're so excited to watch Joel, Hyewon, and Matt embody and elevate that. Welcome to the team, Joel! 🚀

After an incredible 2025, we brought the Unify team together in Cabo 🌴 Last year we experienced incredible growth and momentum, driven by a lot of hard work behind the scenes. As we kick off the year ahead, we wanted to pause and do something intentional: spend time together, in person. During this offsite, we had very few hours of structured sessions. The priority this week was rest, connection, and getting to know each other beyond Slack and Zoom. From teammates across SF and NYC to many first in-person hellos, it’s been a reminder that the best companies are built by people who genuinely enjoy building together. We’re back at it on Thursday, recharged and ready. Until then, we’re soaking it all in ☀️ Let's go Unify!

🚨 Must-Watch Alert: Austin Hughes recently joined Tetsuro Miyatake on the Off Topic podcast to discuss the future of GTM and how AI is reshaping outbound sales. They explored why most software companies struggle more with distribution than product development, the shift from systems of record to systems of action, and what changes when AI agents sit on both sides of the buying process. Austin also shared stories from the early days of building Unify, as well as some of the lessons we've learned working with teams at Perplexity, Cursor, and Flock Safety. If you're thinking about GTM strategy or how AI fits into your sales motion, you don't want to miss it. We'll drop the link below. 👇

Unify Spotlight with Jaden Rosenthal 9 deals in 1 month. 170% to quota. A top-performing AE. Yes, Jaden's been absolutely crushing it! What sets him apart is his ability to weave his own personal story about “why Unify” into his pitch. Before joining our team, he was the #1 SDR on Placer's 100-person team. He personally sourced $1.6M of closed won revenue by using intent signals that the rest of the team wasn’t acting on. Sound familiar? That's exactly what Unify does for our customers, so when Jaden talks about it, buyers hear someone who's lived the problem and found the solution. It's been awesome watching you grow this year, Jaden. We can't wait to see what's next! P.S. We're hiring across our sales team, including NBRs, AEs, and more. If you want to join Jaden and the rest of our incredible sales function, use the link below to learn more.

Most teams run outbound. Elite teams build an outbound operating system. After working with 300+ growth teams, we've noticed 4 traits that consistently separate the best from everyone else. 1. They plan their first 100 plays (plays = repeatable outbound automations) Top teams treat outbound like a product. They start with their first 3 plays and scale to hundreds across different personas, intent signals, and messaging. More plays → more meetings booked. 2. They automate across the entire funnel Targeting website visitors is just the beginning. Elite teams automate everything upstream and downstream: • pre & post-event engagement • UTM reactivation + paid audience follow-ups • PLG triggers • content-based follow-up More touchpoints → more meetings booked. 3. They partner tightly with sales They don't just "hand off leads". They work closely with sales, receiving feedback on what good pipeline actually looks like. Then, they optimize plays together. When growth and sales operate as one team, outbound can rival inbound. 4. They assign a full-time owner This is the part almost everyone misses. Elite teams dedicate at least one person to own automated outbound full time. At Unify, this decision unlocked hundreds of meetings booked per month. These 4 traits form the operating system of world class growth teams that run automated outbound. Want ideas for more plays to run? Before Unify for Reps, it took Tarun hours to reach 100 prospects. Now, he does it in minutes AND he knows who is interested before anyone even replies. At his last job, outbound looked like this: • research accounts • write personalization • build lists • send 100 emails • wait until someone responds There was no signal and no feedback loop. Just silence until a reply came in. He had no idea if anyone cared unless they replied. With Unify for Reps, Tarun starts his day with 50-100 high-intent leads already prospected and enriched. Instead of waiting for replies, he can track engagement in real time: • who visited the website • what pages did they go to • who opened and clicked emails • who engaged with social media content What used to take hours now takes a few minutes and the rest of the day Tarun can focus on what actually moves deals forward: cold calls and connection. His stance is simple: Figure out what you're best at and pump up your volume because more shots always win. Want to give your team the same edge? Use the link below to learn more.

Delve generated pipeline with a Fortune 50 logo within 7 days of deploying Unify. They did it by automating compliance qualification with Unify's AI Agents at the top of their funnel. Delve is an AI-native compliance platform, which means outbound only works if they know one thing first: Is the company already compliant? Or are they working towards compliance? Because the messaging is completely different. → "Let us help you get compliant." → "Let us make your existing compliance even easier." Before Unify, this meant manually inspecting websites and researching compliance status account-by-account which was slow, inconsistent, and impossible to scale. Today, Unify’s AI Agents do that research automatically and route prospects into the right path. Which means Delve can run national billboard campaigns and turn that surge of website traffic into qualified outbound at scale. Taher (Founding Growth Lead) said it well - "Unify ensures that outreach gets done right. The platform improves my ability to get revenue in the door tenfold." If your outbound depends on custom qualification criteria, Unify's AI Agents can do the research and routing for you.

Unify Spotlight with Hyewon Kim In March 2023, Austin and Connor convinced Hyewon to join Unify as our founding designer. The company was less than 2 months old, and our trajectory has never been the same. When people interact with great brand and design, they feel it. That feeling can't always be explained, but it creates an intangible connection that's hard to break. Despite this, many startups wait too long to invest in design. Fortunately, we didn't make the same mistake. Hyewon's work has blown our minds time and again over the past 2.5 years. Whether it was our first logo or early Play visualizations, her work consistently elicits a strong emotional response. If you want to build a product that makes people feel something, we'd love to hear from you at the link below.

Our very own Charlie O'Neil joined presenters from Framer, Attio, Clay, and Profound at the most recent Framer Growth Space event hosted in the Antimetal office! To an audience of top growth, marketing, and GTM leads in NYC, Charlie discussed how modern orgs are orchestrating outbound by combining automated and sales-led motions. Well done, Charlie! P.S. Keep an eye out for more Growth Space events coming soon.
