Protecting the future of sport requires long-term vision. That means thinking differently about how we create better products, strengthen our business and better serve athletes. For Chief Sustainability Officer Cimarron Nix, it means drawing on her experience across manufacturing, sourcing, labor, human rights and sustainability to drive enterprise-wide impact. "Our focus on sustainability is stronger than ever, as is our commitment to serving athletes," says Nix. "We continue to integrate sustainability across our business because helping protect the future of sport requires progress across the entire value chain." One notification. Then the Yard started moving 👀 Duke Dennis surprised students at Howard University with a SNKRS Pass for the Howard-inspired Air Jordan 1 as part of the school’s first-ever badged footwear moment. Howard student athlete and former Nike Brand Marketing Intern Courtney McClure helped build the event, then watched her community make it their own. "Being on the Yard and seeing students genuinely excited, engaged, and showing up for the moment made it even more special," says McClure. "It was exciting to see how a brand experience can become something that feels authentic to the campus and community." History feels different when you help shape it. #AirJordan #JustDoIt #HowardUniversity

Style that stands out. Speed that speaks for itself 👟 Keely Hodgkinson worked directly with the Nike Innovation team to create a one-of-one speed suit for ATHLOS London engineered to her exact performance and design specifications. "The large opening at the back has been a favorite of Keely’s since day one," says Hannah Amis (May), Director, Innovation Apparel Product Design. "She loves that it’s so different from any other race suit — marrying her vision with our innovation to offer a new expression of performance apparel on the track." The competition never stood a chance. See how Keely’s speed suit came to life: https://lnkd.in/dAzpWqum #NikeRunning #Innovation #JustDoIt #AthlosLondon

Two years ago, Aspen wasn't playing basketball. Today, she's walking the runway 🏀 The 10-year-old joined Grow Our Game, a Nike-supported nonprofit helping create the future of youth sport in NYC. At first, she watched from the sidelines. Now she's first in line. That confidence carried Aspen to the runway, where she and fellow hooper Skyla modeled the latest NBA Standard Issue Collection alongside youth from We Got Next Sports. Watching proudly were Nike's NYC Social & Community Impact Director Alize V. Garcia and Grow Our Game Founder Chiené Jones. "The kids from Grow Our Game and We Got Next Sports illustrate how transformative sport can be for youth, showing how far coaching, community and sport can take a young person," says Garcia. Confidence: It’s a game-changer. #NikeBasketball #JustDoIt #FutureOfYouthSport

Innovation starts with athletes. Always. Sabrina Ionescu and Cade Cunningham join Chief Innovation, Design & Product Officer Phil McCartney to discuss the power of athlete partnership and how today’s stars help shape what’s next ⬇️
The voice of the athlete has always been at the center of how we innovate at Nike. This week at the Fast Company Innovation Festival, I joined Sabrina Ionescu, Cade Cunningham and Brendan Vaughan to discuss what drives innovation at Nike and the role athletes play in that process. Athletes like Sabrina and Cade aren't simply testing products. They're helping shape them. Their insights, ambitions and feedback challenge us to think differently about what's possible – not just for elite athletes, but for athletes everywhere. That's how innovation happens at Nike: athlete insight, science and relentless experimentation working together to help athletes perform at their best. Grateful to Sabrina, Cade and Brendan for a great conversation and for highlighting a core belief at Nike: when we stay close to athletes, we uncover new ways to help them go further. Learn from the best. Then make it yours 🏀 In "The Move," the next generation puts their own spin on the signature moves of NBA stars. Beckham Black, the No. 1-ranked player in the Class of 2027, shows how he uses Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's lethal stepback to create space, freeze defenders and knock down jumpers. Future opponents: You’ve been warned. "My basketball dream is to go the NBA and be one of the best," says Beckham. "I’ve worked my whole life to be in that situation." Every summer starts with possibility. Our 2026 interns brought curiosity, energy and bold ideas to our campuses, shaping projects, building connections and growing as leaders along the way. “Sport teaches us that growth happens when we're willing to stretch beyond what's comfortable, and our internship experience is designed to do exactly that,” said Jillian Radke, Director of Emerging Talent Recruiting & Programs. “My hope is that every intern leaves with greater confidence in themselves, a deeper appreciation for the impact they can have, and the belief that they can help shape what's next.” To our interns: thank you for the passion and perspective you brought to Nike this summer. This post is about running. This post is not about running. You've heard Coach Bennett’s voice on countless runs through the Nike Run Club app. But his impact goes far beyond motivating your miles. "My philosophy is that when you go for a run, it should be about more than running," Chris Bennett says. “I think that’s why the connection with listeners has been so intense and durable over the years. "I don’t have to create a runner. All I have to do is convince you that you can do things you don’t believe you can do." No shortcuts on the Nike Innovation Farm Team 👟 Through the Nike Sport Research Lab (NSRL), 18 runners spent 15 weeks helping Nike Innovators study the variables behind ultra-endurance performance. “The people who know athletes best are the ones who spend the most time with them — it’s that simple,” says Brad Winn, Lead Researcher of Applied Innovation, who served as the program's head coach. “There’s no better way to do that than bringing them here to our house, inviting them in, and doing everything we can to support them.” Because innovation is a team sport. See how the Nike Innovation Farm Team helped spur insights that benefit ultra runners everywhere: https://lnkd.in/gHPZuweU #NikeRunning #ACG #Innovation #JustDoIt
