This is such a big deal for Up and Running Events. What an absolutely brilliant summer they've had, it's so so great to watch one of our partners reach new heights like this. I'm genuinely over the moon for them. They have teamed up with London Marathon Events to bring a brand new half marathon to Stirling in May 2027, set against one of Scotland's most historic backdrops. The response so far has been epic... 50% of tickets already sold within 5 days of launch and 56% of entries so far are female!! It's the latest chapter in what's been a genuinely brilliant year for them. This summer alone, from June to August they had 19 events total up from only 3 last year, and 8× more runners. They also made waves with a whole host of different events. - Launched Bun Run in Glasgow and Edinburgh, swapping PB's for a relaxed half marathon route stopping at the city's best independent bakeries. - Played their part in the buzz around the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, hosting Glasgow Green as part of the city wide 'All In 2026' programme - Kept Aberdeen's running community busy with events at Duthie Park - Brought the World Cup to the running scene with themed running parties at Queen's Park and Alexandra Park Laurence Prior and Sammy Hayman shared the below with us: 'It’s been a huge year for Up and Running and we’re incredibly proud of how much the events and community have grown. The partnership with London Marathon Events and launching Stirling Half Marathon feels like a major next step for us. We want to take everything we’ve learned from building Up and Running over the last few years and use that alongside LME’s experience to create a Half Marathon that becomes a major part of the Scottish running calendar.' This sounds so awesome! https://lnkd.in/er8M3vUN MASSIVE congrats to the Up and Running team! 🚀

AI customer service agents are only truly useful if they can do more than answer a question. They need to be able to take action on participant requests - that's what actually reduces the workload for event teams in the run-up to event day. This is the challenge we’ve been working on with our Experience Agent since our last webinar in July. On Wednesday 23 September, we’re hosting a live webinar to show how the Experience Agent can now take action on participant requests - from start to finish, without handing back to an event team. Rob Cope and Berenika Kotelko will demo the agent responding to requests, including editing participant details, sending wave times and bib numbers, and resending registration confirmations and receipts. We’ll also show you a sneak preview of the new inbox we’re building. A place for the conversations that are resolved by our agent, and ones handled by your team - showing you how you stay in control of what the agent can and can’t do. AI in event operations becomes truly valuable when it can do more than answer questions. It needs to take action. That is the focus of the upcoming Let's Do This webinar, where Rob Cope and Berenika Kotelko will demonstrate how their Experience Agent can now handle participant requests from start to finish. From updating participant details and resending confirmations, to sharing wave times, bib numbers and receipts, the aim is simple: reduce the pressure on event teams during the busiest period before race day. The session will also include a first look at the new inbox, designed to give organisers full visibility of participant conversations and make it easier to manage the cases that still need human support. An important point for organisers: the Experience Agent is not limited to events using Let's Do This for registration and can work alongside other registration platforms. 📅 Wednesday, 23 September 🕠 17:30–18:15 BST A relevant session for anyone working in race operations, participant services, customer support or event technology. https://lnkd.in/emGj2kZX #ERBC2026 #EuropeanRunningBusinessConference

The real value of AI in event operations is not just answering questions. It is being able to actually take action. That is what makes the next step of the Let's Do This Experience Agent particularly interesting. From updating participant details and resending confirmations, to sharing wave times, bib numbers and receipts, the agent is now designed to handle requests from start to finish without everything coming back to the event team. For organisers, especially in the final days before race day, that can make a huge difference. Participant support is one of those areas that can quickly consume time and resources when teams are already under the most pressure. On 23 September, Rob Cope and Berenika Kotelko will demonstrate the Experience Agent live, including the new inbox that gives event teams visibility over every conversation and lets them step in where human support is actually needed. And importantly, this is not limited to events using Let’s Do This for registration. The Experience Agent can work alongside other registration platforms too. A very relevant session for anyone working in race operations, participant services or event technology. Sign-up link in the original post.

Let's Do This samarbejder i forvejen med nogle af verdens største løb og events, herunder TCS London Marathon, Bank of America Chicago Marathon og Nike After Dark Tour.

56% growth in registrations during the first week of entries!! Today we're announcing our partnership with Eugene Marathon ahead of their 20th anniversary, and I could not be more excited to be part of it. This opening week has been SUCH a huge moment for our platform... The fastest sellout pace in Eugene Marathon's history and runners are moving fast to lock in a spot before this one sells out again. Ian Dobson, Becky Radliff and Courtney Heily, thanks so much for being absolutely brilliant to work with... completely in utter admiration of you all for putting so so much care into an iconic race that matters so much to the endurance community. Registration is such an important touchpoint a participant has with an event and we want to make that moment absolutely incredible, every single time. Massive thank you to everyone across the LDT team who made this happen and a special shoutout to Rachel Le Comber for playing a blinder as always.
