AI in event operations becomes truly valuable when it can do more than answer questions. It needs to take action. That is the focus of the upcoming Let's Do This webinar, where Rob Cope and Berenika Kotelko will demonstrate how their Experience Agent can now handle participant requests from start to finish. From updating participant details and resending confirmations, to sharing wave times, bib numbers and receipts, the aim is simple: reduce the pressure on event teams during the busiest period before race day. The session will also include a first look at the new inbox, designed to give organisers full visibility of participant conversations and make it easier to manage the cases that still need human support. An important point for organisers: the Experience Agent is not limited to events using Let's Do This for registration and can work alongside other registration platforms. 📅 Wednesday, 23 September 🕠 17:30–18:15 BST A relevant session for anyone working in race operations, participant services, customer support or event technology. https://lnkd.in/emGj2kZX #ERBC2026 #EuropeanRunningBusinessConference

The real value of AI in event operations is not just answering questions. It is being able to actually take action. That is what makes the next step of the Let's Do This Experience Agent particularly interesting. From updating participant details and resending confirmations, to sharing wave times, bib numbers and receipts, the agent is now designed to handle requests from start to finish without everything coming back to the event team. For organisers, especially in the final days before race day, that can make a huge difference. Participant support is one of those areas that can quickly consume time and resources when teams are already under the most pressure. On 23 September, Rob Cope and Berenika Kotelko will demonstrate the Experience Agent live, including the new inbox that gives event teams visibility over every conversation and lets them step in where human support is actually needed. And importantly, this is not limited to events using Let’s Do This for registration. The Experience Agent can work alongside other registration platforms too. A very relevant session for anyone working in race operations, participant services or event technology. Sign-up link in the original post.
The Experience Agent handled over 11,000 participant conversations in one race week. A 95.4% resolution rate... that is pretty wild to see in the middle of the busiest week of an organizer’s year📈 Honestly, we’re so excited about what the team have been building with the Experience Agent. It’s really is a genuinely game changing tool for organizers!! On Wednesday 23 September, Rob Cope and Berenika Kotelko are going to host a webinar to show it taking action on participant requests live, from changing details to resending confirmations. They’ll also show the new inbox we’re building so event teams can see and manage the conversations that need them. And you don't need to be on Let's Do This for registration. The Experience Agent works with any registration platform you're already using. 📣 How AI Agents Can Action Participant Requests & Clear Your Inbox: Wednesday 23 September, 5:30pm BST / 12:30pm ET If race week has ever swallowed your inbox, come join us. If you run events across multiple teams, regions or business units, you'll know how quietly the mess builds up. Different platforms, duplicated spend, data scattered across systems, and an attendee experience that varies depending on which office booked it. So should event tech sit inside one centralised function? Matthew Allen, CEO of CrowdComms, chairs this panel with Jennifer Bray, who leads event technology and attendee engagement at FIRST. They'll look at both sides properly: the governance, buying power and joined-up reporting that centralisation brings, and the flexibility and speed you can lose along the way. It's the opening session on the AI & Innovation Stage, and a practical one for anyone in event strategy, technology, operations or procurement inside a large organisation. 📅 Wednesday 11 November | 09:45–10:30 | AI & Innovation Stage Click here for the full agenda: https://lnkd.in/dGKsfed9 Event Tech Live London | 11-12 Nov 2026 | Excel London | Free to attend #EventTechLive #ETL26 #EventTech #EventProfs

A registration count is not an attendance count. I learned this while running Gen AI to Z. The Takits dashboard calculated a 42.9% show rate by putting registration and actual check-in data in one place. That number changes how you look at the next event. How much food do you order? How many chairs? How many certificates? What number do you report to sponsors? This is one of the simple things I wanted Takits to solve. Takits is the AI Assisted Event Ecosystem I'm developing for Philippine events. Registration and QR check-in live in the same event management system, so the real attendance data is already there when the event ends. No Monday spreadsheet cleanup just to find out who actually came. The screenshot is from the product. One real event, one honest ratio. Do you know your last event's real show rate? #takits #eventmanagement #eventorganizing #eventtechnology #attendanceanalytics

AI innovation, industry connections and a few reasons to celebrate at the Credit Services Association UKCCC 2026. What a fantastic time at CSA UKCCC 2026 in Burton-on-Trent! As headline sponsors, the TCN UK team Andy Brooks MICM, Emma Reynolds (MCICM) Spencer Taylor FCICM, were proud to be there connecting with existing clients, meeting new contacts and showcasing what an innovative, AI-focused contact centre platform can do for modern businesses. And as our event T-shirts hinted, AI was very much at the heart of our conversations. We were excited to put the spotlight on some of our newest AI-powered solutions, designed to help businesses work smarter, reduce workloads and deliver better customer experiences. * SmartAMD helps streamline call screening by intelligently identifying answering machines, helping teams spend more time on productive customer interactions. * Virtual Agents, including our 24/7 Night Agent, can automate routine tasks and keep customers supported around the clock — even when your team isn't there. These are just a few examples of how we're helping contact centres work more efficiently, automate intelligently and create better experiences for customers and teams alike. But there was even more to celebrate at this year's event… We’re incredibly proud that a key member of our UK team received the prestigious Merit Award - well done to Emma Reynolds (MCICM) And TCN was highly commended in the Business Innovation Award category, jointly entered with our client Overdales Legal Limited, recognising the achievements delivered following the implementation of Smart Answering Machine Detection (AMD). A huge thank you to everyone who visited us, shared ideas and took the time to discover what AI-powered contact centre technology could mean for your organisation. AI, big ambitions and the power of bringing people together are all in the spotlight this week 💡 🔹We Are Collider has launched ROXi, a proprietary AI tool designed to predict the potential ROI of brand experiences before they take place, using campaign data, behavioural science and industry benchmarks to help clients build a stronger case for investment. 🔹Navan is expanding its global events business by bringing together Reed & Mackay Events’s established event expertise with its travel, expense and technology platform, creating a more integrated offering for meetings and events. 🔹Cisco Live 2026 Amsterdam welcomed more than 21,000 attendees and delivered 1,600 sessions, making it the most successful event in Cisco EMEA's history, with a customer-first approach helping turn a huge conference into a connected community. AI-powered tools, global growth and record-breaking events... safe to say there’s plenty happening out there 🚀 www.micebook.com/news #micebook #miceprofs #miceevents #eventnews #mice #meetings #incentives #conference #events #exhibition #eventindustrynews #eventplanner #travel #destination #eventprofsuk #eventsuk #AI #eventtech #brandexperience #businesstravel #liveevents #eventcommunity

A new AI tool called ROXi just landed in the experience marketing world, built by We Are Collider, now part of The Strata Group. Feed it attendee numbers, budget, media spend, influencer participation and campaign type, and it hands back a predicted ROI score and reach before a single euro is spent. Roughly 70% of event organizers say they struggle to prove ROI to their own stakeholders. That number is the real story here, not the AI. Every proposal I've seen in this industry leans on good intentions and a few strong testimonials. That still works, until the person across the table has a projected number attached to theirs. MICE technology is quietly shifting from planning tools to proof tools. Software that tells you how to run an event is useful. Software that tells a CFO what the event will return before it happens is a different conversation entirely. It's part of a much bigger shift, too. AI-powered tools are showing up across our industry faster than most of us expected, and it's genuinely exciting watching how quickly they're maturing. At MBC, we don't have to build an AI model to take the lesson. We have years of retreats and incentive groups behind us, real outcomes, real numbers, sitting in old files. There's a pitch waiting in there: here's what we've delivered before, here's what we'd project for you. That's the kind of number that gets a C-suite offsite signed off, not just admired.
