I said in my last review that i was hoping i wouldn't need to edit the review and report a bad experience.
I absolutely don't need to edit my last review and i think the service only deserves a fresh review.
The guys at YT have been faultless.. i expressed my concerns, they communicated, i placed the order, they despatched within the 12 days as promised and its arrived this morning. Son is absolutely beaming and he/i cant wait for me to get home from work to assemble.
Saw a couple of kids, and adults actually, on YT bikes at Ard Rock last weekend too so by the looks of it they're back!
My advice to anyone would be, trust the process.. they're a much smaller team following last years disruption but they're clearly working hard to get things back moving.. and they're delivering!
Bigup YT!

They send me a set the same week for free! Great service!
From a loyal returning customer to ignored ghost: Massive regression by YT Industries.
I have been a loyal customer of YT Industries for many years, having bought at least four of their bikes in the past. I always considered the brand reliable. Unfortunately, my latest order of two e-bikes has turned into an endless loop of chaos, administrative failure, and an absolute lack of professionalism.
The issues started right at the very beginning:
Technical and Administrative Chaos: My long-standing account suddenly stopped working for some reason. Trying to set up a new business account completely overwhelmed their support team. Due to a supposed glitch in their VAT number verification system, they instructed me to create a standard retail account instead and email them my VAT details. The endless back-and-forth emails, fixing incorrect invoices, and just finalizing the order took an entire month.
Missed Deadlines: The e-bikes were supposed to be available by the end of May. The wire transfer was sent immediately. It has now been over a month since the promised deadline, and the bikes have still not been delivered.
Ghosting the Customer: The worst part of this entire experience is the complete breakdown in communication. The company either replies with massive delays or completely ignores my emails. Staying silent while holding a customer's money is absolutely unacceptable.
It is shocking that a returning customer who regularly spends significant amounts of money with them is treated like an afterthought. If a company cannot deliver a product on time, the bare minimum is to keep the client informed. I strongly advise against buying from them until they sort out their internal processes and learn how to respect their customers.

YT don’t reply to emails
YT don’t reply to emails. You can’t buy spare parts in australia anymore. Would never buy from them again. Would not recommend their products which I previously have.
Poor experience overall.
Best Customer Support!
I've written this once, and I'll do it again. The YT customer service is simply the best!
First, when I got my bike through their website and I almost got it stolen by DHL staff in Portugal, YT customer service jumped right on it and offered me a new bike if mine would be declared as "lost". Not only that, but they reached out to DHL and, from that moment on, things took on a new turn and my bike was delivered in 24 hours.
Now, for the second time, I've reached out to their customer service asking about an upgrade to a pair of Magura MT7 brakes, and again they were incredibly helpful! They totally when above and beyond with the information and support given, and I couldn't be happier with their approach.
Thank you YT team for being so great!
YT Industries
YT Industries, needs to go back-to-the-basics. Too much investment into the fad of electric bikes, has decimated the brand.
End the electric frame catalog, and just go back to what a bicycle truly means: Pedaling-it. Leg power. Simplicity.
YT Industries could benefit greatly by offering more alloy frame models. Alloy hardtails for the bike parks and long-haul journeys.
The e-market is dying-out. Many gullible purchasers are discovering the extreme cost of maintenance of e-bikes, and the fact the battery-charge do not last very long. And e-bikes are primarily for those with lots of spare change to spend.
YT Industries, also needs to update and progress the rear suspension. It's affordable(for the non-electtric variety), but definitely not perfect. Lastly, YT Industries could increase sales by offering more colors and especially a red-white-blue frame to honor America's 250th birthday. How bout a carbon hardtail with a alloy rear triangle.

Paid for part and no response
Ordered a part shortly after they came back in action after going into administration. Terrible service, I paid for the goods 8 wks ago and they haven't sent anything and it is virtually impossible to get an email reply. Their phones are not answered and the message tells you to email. Busy or not busy, it doesn't take 2 minutes to reply to a customer. I quicklyt thinking the new outfit is a con!
3 months without my bike waiting for basic spare part
I needed a replacement axel and contacted them in October 2025. No real responses for weeks. Eventually they responded and said I could not order the part yet online or through support. I managed to order the part myself on 11th December after seeing it come online on the YT site (no help or heads up from them, even though I had a ticket open). While it was supposed to be sent by fast post with DHL I’m still waiting for it in January, which is really long even over Christmas. I’m without my bike now for 3 months.
I know they went through financial issues which must have been awful, but they promised good customer service on relaunching. I don’t see that at all.
I had similar issues buying my bike in 2024 with months of delays versus when they promised to deliver it, and multiple broken promises, having taken full payment. So this is a pattern of poor customer service and delivery.
So So experience with the customer service
Bad experience with the customer service.
Ordered a bike in May received in July. No worries,
faulty brakes out of the box. Started tge process in July for a replacement. We're in October. Still nothing.
Update November 2025 : a replacement was finally received.
Go to a store and buy a new bike not from the net
I ordered a black yt Tues core 2 in 2024 months and months went by and they said it’s on the way with no ups tracking so I called them and they said the ship is somewhere out in the Pacific Ocean and they told me you will not be getting the bike soon and can’t tell me when so they offered me a more expensive bike for more money the old bate and switch deal and I said for the same price they said no so I had to take a yt core1 27.5 instead which I did not want that bike came on time but was damaged and to this day I still have not received the right headset for my bike but they sent me the wrong one twice and said put that one on your bike it should work gest what it does not work at all and will definitely destroy my frame don’t buy from this company at all

I bought a new bike for my son late 2024, it was for Christmas present, on Christmas day opened the box the head stock paint was chipped, contacted yt Industries, they said send the bike back, so I suggested they give me a small discount and send the touch up paint, I recieved the discount which was about 5%, but never recieved the touch up kit. My son only used this bike about 3 times after Christmas, but he went out on at the end of February riding down a easy trail in the woods, the weld on the headstock failed, snapped straight through the weld, I contacted yt Industries they said we will collect the bike for inspection, communications was very slow with them, eventually they said they would replace the frame with a new frame from factory, so I thought great, bike got returned, it was not a new frame as promised, it certainly was not a factory paint job, paint texture was rough, had runs in paint and chips in the paint work, so I contacted them again and asked for a refund, they said they couldn't refund at this point, so I looked into it and since I give them a chance to repair it and the repair wasn't to standard, I was entitled to refund, so emailed the again, they said they would collect for a refund, almost four month futher on several emails back and forwards, still no refund. My son was injured due to this weld in the frame snapping, destroying his new helmet and riding gear, not once did anyone ask how bad he was injured, I would give this company a wide birth. They have the bike also the money they have not refunded.

Excellent bikes at reasonable prices for real mountain bikers. What more can I say! Thank you YT…keep doing what you’re doing!
Capra
After two years of riding the Capra, I’m still very satisfied with it. I’ve had two warranty related service issues, including a problem with RS ZEB - both well resolved by customer service.

Some parts were unavailable on yt website. Called up the service centre who confirmed items in stock and were dispatched same day. Great service.
Great service for current YT riders
I understand a lot is going on with YT at the moment but I have to leave a positive review. I currently ride a YT and desperately needed replacement parts for my shock assembly before race day Sunday. Unfortunately I couldn’t place an order online but after a quick email to YT they responded within 24 hours they had an order placed for me and the items sent out the same day. Looking forward to being able to race now! Thanks
This company is no longer reputable
This company is no longer reputable. At some point in mid 2025 the company took a turn for the worse and seems to be going bankrupt. They took my money and will not refund me or send me a bike. They are doing this to customers in Europe and now in North America. I advise everyone to avoid YT, chances are you will not receive the product or get a refund.

I received my bike a month earlier than expected, which was a pleasant surprise. It arrived well-packaged, and to my delight, it came with additional tools I hadn’t anticipated. Most importantly, the price was low compared to the competition !

This company is using the £2700 I paid for my bike to settle it's debts after leaving me waiting months. Terrible company.
