Customers genuinely love how quick and remarkably easy it is to use the platform to transform their 2D images and sketches into detailed 3D models. Would not recommend to use again

Would not recommend to use again. I bought a yearly subscription and I will not be able to use all of my credit that I should be getting every month once the new month roll in since they do not stack month to month. Being how some of us have a busy life and can't get to use all credit within that time. Great tool, just not friendly when it comes to credits

"The product is excellent

"The product is excellent, but there has been no response at all from the after-sales service. I hope the official side will contact me as soon as possible."

Broken website and bad support team

I want to share my experience with this website because I’m extremely disappointed with how my subscription issue was handled, and I think other customers should be aware of it.

I subscribed for **one month** to try the additional features. After deciding the service wasn’t what I needed, I cancelled the subscription. I had specifically chosen the monthly option, not an annual plan.

However, after pressing cancel, the subscription section of the website disappeared and I received **no cancellation confirmation at all**. Because this worried me, I contacted support using the same email address linked to my account and asked them simply to confirm whether my subscription had been cancelled.

I then received an automated response saying my request would be reviewed within 7 days. For the next 2–3 days, I also had no access to the subscription area of the website, which made me believe the cancellation had worked.

One month later, I discovered that the subscription had somehow become active again and I had been charged another **$19**.

Support later told me they had previously asked for my payment details in order to check the subscription. I find this very strange considering I had already contacted them from the same email linked to my account and was only asking them to check whether the subscription on their own website was cancelled.

I will admit my own mistake: I did not notice their follow-up email immediately, and when the $19 charge appeared I initially thought it was for something else, so I contacted them about the refund two days later.

However, they refused to refund me despite the original problem beginning when their website gave me no clear cancellation confirmation and removed my access to the subscription system.

So my advice is simple: **if you subscribe here and later cancel, check everything carefully, keep screenshots, save every email, and make sure you receive written confirmation.**

I personally would not trust the cancellation process again after this experience.

I tested the refund process of both…

I tested the refund process of both Meshy and Tripo before fully committing to an annual plan. Meshy had an automated refund process, and they immediately refunded without any questions asked. Tripo required me to send them an email to process my refund. However, after days of waiting, no refund was issued. Tripo has just lost a studio to Meshy because of greed.

SCAM - Can't cancel subscription

The modelling is OK but the company SCAMS you when you want to cancel. If you try and cancel you have to go through an AI chat bot and answer questions to get to cancel the subscription. This does not work. It does not let you cancel even if it says you have cancelled it. YOU WILL GET CHARGED AGAIN! When you contact support to get a refund you will be told that you did not request a refund within 4 days of the transaction so they will not refund you. They will then also not cancel your subscription so you will get charged again. I have had to get my bank to do a charge back and block the merchant.

It is terrible

It is terrible! The model quality is bad. The price is unreasonable for the amount of times you have to try to redo a model. It nickle and dimes your credits. Then lets not mention they Que you have to wait in for sometimes hours and the down time add all of that and then put on top of it that you LOOSE what you paid for every month if you do not use them! Yes you loose the credits you paid for they do not roll over to the next month if you didnt use them well you lost them!

Insecure App

First, let's give credit where it's due. This tool is the best image to 3d model out there. No doubts.

Why a one star review?

Because they are one of those group of people who will capture and guard your debit card information and try to charge you. Leaving you no option to pull out your card from their system. The only way you can manage your subscription is by emailing them.

It's super controlling and insecure behavior. Coming from a tech leader, it's counter-intuitive for sure. Will hurt the company more than it benefits them. Hope someone in the right position either takes notice or is replaced with someone with more business sense soon.

They had no idea how to get my item off private so that they could look at it.

I tried to use a Medusa image AI generated. They flagged it as inappropriate/private. Nothing inappropriate about the image. I asked support for help, as the final result resembled an alien. After about 20 back and forth messages, I have decided they have no idea what they are doing. They had no idea how to get my item off private so that they could look at it. I would give it 0 if I could.

If you want to spend more time optimising the model rather than building it from make by hand.

I’ve been using Tripo since its early versions. I can say that they’ve significantly improved the dreadful quality and added new tools, but I’m writing this review to warn new subscribers to this service.

I first took out a paid subscription when they added the smart retopology feature. It was presented very impressively in the demo and worked fine for just the first week after the launch. Just like everything else Tripo does. I don’t know why, but immediately after the first updates, a couple of weeks later, everything goes horribly wrong. The tools are broken.

I’ve had other people’s models sent to me via Smart Retopology on numerous occasions; presumably, mine have ended up with someone else. In other words, this literally altered my model. The UVs consist of thousands of tiny fragments that make no sense at all, because ultimately your texture turns into a low-poly mess. Even free Chinese alternatives produce UV unwraps that are an order of magnitude better than Tripo’s.

The characters are distorted beyond recognition. Sometimes they don’t even resemble the originals by 30–40%. In other words, they don’t look like them at all. For some reason, it adds all these strange little details every time, as if trying to create eyelashes, which is completely pointless because it breaks the topology. But even if you get a reference image without textures or hair, your character will look like a monkey with distorted proportions, rather than what you uploaded. This is completely unsuitable for character creation. It’s only suitable for solid, static objects, which you’ll end up having to rework by hand for longer than if you’d just made them from scratch in the first place.

But what I hate most of all is that they commission bloggers to run adverts that blatantly lie to you by showing you pre-made characters that you’ll never actually get – certainly not on the first try, nor even on the 50th. It’s simply consumer fraud carried out through influential people on the internet. I even tried using photo references from one of the YouTubers they’d paid to advertise, and even after dozens of attempts, I didn’t get the same result as shown in the video.

You’d be better off stopping the lies and improving the quality of your service, rather than spending money on advertising when your service is so shoddy. You’re simply incapable of producing a single ‘Game Ready’ model, as you claim everywhere. You haven’t the faintest idea what ‘Game Ready’ means, because no self-respecting studio would ever use such low-quality UVs, textures, let alone topology.

The only thing this service is good for—if you’re fabulously wealthy—is to fill a level (if you have a very powerful PC) with temporary assets to show someone else or to see for yourself what it looks like, only to end up doing it all by hand from scratch anyway. But there are plenty of free, cheaper alternatives that are perfectly suitable for that.

Tripo3D Affiliate Program (SCAM)

Tripo3D Affiliate Program (SCAM)

I am extremely disappointed with the Tripo3D affiliate program.

I earned commissions legitimately and met the minimum payout threshold several months ago. However, despite waiting for a long time, I still have not received any payment.

The most frustrating part is the lack of communication. I have contacted the affiliate team multiple times regarding my overdue commissions, but my emails have either been ignored or received vague responses without any meaningful follow-up. There has been no clear explanation for the delay and no estimated payment date.

As an affiliate partner who invested time and effort into promoting Tripo3D, I expected transparency and professional support. Instead, I have experienced poor communication, delayed payments, and a complete lack of concern for publishers.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend the Tripo3D affiliate program. Affiliates should be cautious when promoting this platform, as receiving earned commissions may become a lengthy and frustrating process.
