Order £675 tool on Tuesday of last week to be delivered on Friday of same week . Took day off for collection of tool. Only to be told it has been delivered to Hartlepool , when I was sat in Cardiff ( only 316 miles off) . Was then told I would have to wait for item to be returned before they can resend it . Then after complaining was told Monday will send a fresh unit out so I didn’t have to wait for return , then on Monday got told that one wasn’t in stock and will have to wait for unit to be returned before they can send back out , so ten days after I ordered it . A refund is going to take 3-5 working days so my hands are tied by this companies incompetence . All I kept getting told was sorry I really understand your frustration. What they don’t understand is I’m a tradesman in middle of a job and my reputation is on the line as I’m now a week behind where I said I’d be . No offer of discount or any form of compensation offered. also when have my order number they then stated that I have ordered a hedge trimmer not a tile cutter . I’m unfortunately stuck in this rut until it gets sorted as I don’t have another £700 spare to buy elsewhere instead of waiting . Would never use this company ever again . Also most of B &Q power tools are through this company so careful what you order with them too . Terrible company no organisation from what I can see . Never write reviews but felt that I had to for the sake of others .

​I purchased the Festool TS 55 FEBQ-Plus (576706) bundle with the Guide Rail Kit (577932) and Dust Extractor (578315) for £1,239.00.
​Delivery was fast, but the package arrived missing one of the guide rails. When I contacted customer service, they simply dismissed my claim, stating the parcel weighed 7.5 kg so both rails must have been inside, and closed the case without resolving it.
​Because I urgently needed the tools for my job, I made the mistake of using the saw. Now they refuse a return because they demand everything back in brand-new condition along with both rails—the very rail they failed to send in the first place!
​They sent only one rail and are lying about delivering two. Be extremely cautious dealing with this company. I strongly do not recommend they

Avoid this company. They do not honour any guarantee after 30days. Which is actually against the consumer rights act 2015. They just stop replying if anything goes wrong with any of your purchases.

Really surprised me my first machine packed up within a couple of days obviously a fault from manufacturing which was a shame because it was performing really well on my orbital sander
Contacted tools for trade within a short while that arranged for collection ironically I had disposed of the box away as you do
Anyway it was collected on the Friday and the replacement machine turned up on the Monday

Absolutely superb service, ordered my bench Sander Friday afternoon email confirmation within minutes, Saturday Dpd have received my order. Sunday morning 9:16 delivered to my door, excellent service well done all highly recommend.

I can’t recommend these and will certainly not order from again. Sent incorrect item and didn’t even offer an apology or to have the correct item sent out next working day, even though I paid next working day postage and they managed to supply the incorrect item that way.

Having to pay out-of-pocket to hire backup equipment because a supplier dropped the ball is infuriating, especially when a paying client is waiting on you. If it hasn't even marked as shipped, waiting around for their phone lines to clear up isn't worth your time.

Ordered £750 worth of tools.

Parcel arrived (Friday) 8 am missing one item with a note on the delivery slip saying it was on back order. No email, no phone call.

Called them same afternoon as I had still not had any communication. Was told "not sure" of restock date and that I would get a call back later in the day or the next day (Saturday). Called back on Monday as I had still not heard anything. was told it would be back in stock Wednesday and with me on Thursday. Still no updates on Thursday, had to call again asking for an update. Was told I would get a call back Friday before noon with an update.

Got a call back Friday (at this point 1 week late..) saying it "should be" back in stock next Wednesday but they couldn't guarantee it so asked for a refund.

Terrible communication all along until I started getting very annoyed..

Pretty disappointed paid extra for next day delivery as tool was needed urgently,but never arrived should will use Amazon in future

The item I ordered from yourself was sent out very quickly but unfortunately DPD never delivered it to my property. I’ve been in touch with yourself regarding this and I believe you are looking into it. I asked for it to be left in a safe place which was by my back door as I do on all deliveries from DPD I have over 10 security cameras on my property with line crossing so I know if anybody comes onto my property DPD did not come onto my property and they are also saying that I signed for the parcel please let me know what you’re outcome is as I have not received the item I ordered from you not your fault unfortunately DPD

Excellent value for money, and efficient notifications when items have been dispatched for delivery by the designated couriers.

Arrived promptly next day, Very happy with the quality of the tools delivered.

Good delivery and service

Ordered a power tool from them and paid extra for next day delivery. It was due to be delivered by DPD on Friday, we waited in but it didn’t turn up. We were given a new delivery date for Monday, again didn’t turn up. On both occasions we were told they had attempted delivery but photo shows a blank?! Really disappointing and will call them again tomorrow to get a refund.

Bought a "new" Festool charger from here and it's arrived in a white plastic bag without it's original box or warranty card.

Returning immediately and will never buy from here again.

There's nothing wrong with Makita, but there is with Tools4Trade; appalling customer service and dubious trading practice.

We ordered a Makita Brush Cutter and received a Makita Grass Trimmer, not the same thing at all. Service Dept. said that this was all they could offer, and agreed it wasn't a Brush Cutter.

They do not offer free returns, so we used DPD (no problem with them). Today our refund came .... minus £27.69 with no explanation.

In summary, wrong product supplied, no free return and a spurious unexplained deduction.

Emailed their sales dept twice and rang once. Never received a response to emails and phone number was unobtainable. Gave up.
