A good way to sell old books despite some of the prices being extremely low, however they do take a fair amount of time to process them which could be better. I would recommend using this service if y... See more

Items Missing on checking - apparently
Sadly, since trading with 'Sell your books' my last two trades have arrived with 2 items missing in each parcel apparently. I never had this with Ziffit who I traded with for years. The first one was a parcel of books and I just thought that it was unfortunate but when my last trade of DVD's had the same thing happen I'm thinking that this is not a coincidence. Disappointed.
Happy customer
Really easy to do, with no hitches at all. Brilliant that the parcel gets picked up free of charge.

Really easy to sell unwanted books
Really easy to sell unwanted books. Better still they were collected from my door saving me having to take a heavy box to post. Can't praise World of Books enough. Will definitely use again. Thank you.
Ok but be careful a lot of books rejected
Website easy to use. Courier did not arrive on first date advised but collected next day. Review of three given as a lot of
Books were rejected as water damaged - which on its own surprised me but that also included one book I had not read and came directly off my shelf. The fact I believe that particular book was in good order has made me question the fact so many others were rejected and notice this has been an issue with other users as well.

Excellent place to sell your books and very easy to use. Collections always on time. Even if not there, I leave a box with the order number on the outside and it is still collected. I would however like more money returned!
Good website to sell your unwanted…
Good website to sell your unwanted books. Once the books are posted if they appraise them as damaged or "not received" (if isbn is inside the book, for example), you won't get them back. Contact customer service and ask for their advice.
Do not send your books to this firm - they appear to be crooks.
The first time I sent books to this firm was OK. You don't get much for them, but it seems a good idea for someone else to be able to read them, rather than going to landfill. I got £28 for about 30 books, and they said five were not good enough condition. But the second time was most odd - they paid me £10.56 for some 50 books, rejected a few as being damaged, but also told me 18 books had been "not received". But the books were ALL IN THE SAME BOX! How could they have been "not received" when they were in the same box as the ones which WERE received? After I complained, they paid me another £10.57, and then said "The items in question did not meet our quality standards". But the worst thing, when I complained further, was they said "We will not engage in any further discussion regarding the reasons for rejection"!
