Absolutely Disgraceful Service! No Delivery, No Refund and Now No Communication!
One of the worst shopping experiences I have ever had. I strongly advise anyone considering purchasing from J.C. Campbell Electrics to think twice.
I purchased a dishwasher for £1,358, with delivery originally agreed for 6 October 2026. The appliance never arrived.
After numerous emails, broken promises and repeated assurances, I was told that the courier, Woodsides, would deliver it on Friday or, at the absolute latest, Saturday morning, 10 October.
Once again, NOTHING ARRIVED!
I wasted almost two weeks rearranging my work commitments, waiting for deliveries that never happened and constantly chasing the company for updates.
Eventually, the company acknowledged the failed delivery, apologised and confirmed that my order would be cancelled and a full refund issued.
You would think that would be the end of it. Unfortunately, it wasn't.
I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY £1,358 REFUND!
Because of the complete failure to deliver my order, I opened a dispute through PayPal to protect my money.
Instead of simply responding to PayPal and cooperating with the refund process, the company informed me that they could not process my refund unless I closed the PayPal dispute.
Why should I give up my buyer protection when I have received neither the appliance nor my money?
I explained that they could respond directly through PayPal and resolve the matter. Now they have stopped responding to my emails altogether.
As of 17 October 2026:
No dishwasher delivered.
No refund received.
Almost two weeks wasted.
Repeated delivery promises broken.
Communication has stopped.
£1,358 still outstanding.
For a company selling expensive appliances, this level of customer service is absolutely appalling.
I paid £1,358 in good faith, received nothing, and have now been left chasing my own money.
An apology means absolutely nothing when it is not followed by action.
I would never purchase from this company again and cannot recommend them to anyone.
