Customer service is arrogant, takes too long to reply, and provides wrong answers and then stops replying. They are currently owing me 19,59 euros and actively choosing to ignore the information provided. At this point, I'm both being robbed and also being almost insulted in their replies.

On the 27th of August I've cancelled an item that had been paid with debit card (14,40) +account credit (19,59) on Order 49927-92187, but was only refunded the 14,40.

The original 19,59 due comes from an item originally cancelled on order 67791-89646 (Andrea - Ritorno) which was refunded as account credit, and then used towards order 04824-34817 , which would be merged to finally create 49927-92187

No orders were placed after the cancellation of this item so those 19,59 weren't used on anything else and need to be refunded. They just vanished.

19,62 = only 0,03 difference to the 19,59 that I claim is missing. Even their order total on the website backs that up.

I've sent HHV all the documentation explaining the system had ignored the "Paid Amount" from account credit when refunding the item. Because more than one cancellation took place with the account credit and orders merged in the process, it lost track of the account credit.

The item for which the refund is due was paid 14,40 in cash + 19,59 in existing account credit. It was cancelled on the 27th of August, and since then no orders have been placed. Only the 14,40 in card payment was refunded. So I asked them where the 19,59 went, if no orders were placed since the item was cancelled?

First, they were saying the amount went into offsetting an order placed in July(!!!). That an item cancelled in late August and paid with 14,40 cash + 19,59 account credit was only refunded 14,40 because the rest of the amount had been offset in a purchase made in late July (and confirmed by myself as having been paid in full without any offsets and offered to provide statements - they ignored). Make it make sense. It must be a case of time travel.

Several days later, another reply from a different colleague asking me if a different refund I had received for a different cancellation had solved the problem. Surreal.

Then they went one step further and replied most rudely after I continued chasing; I got this reply:

"Hello,

as you had the answer already on the 28th of August and

the overview to calculate it by yourself

the answer is not prioritized.

I'm sorry for that.

Math is like a game with fixed rules (like chess or Ludo). There's no "maybe": one rule always applies, everywhere. Step by step: you don't have to understand everything at once. Also, was chasing for the same order not being sent and being incorrectly told "several items were not in stock" when in reality it was a system error (the same system that is always right, according to Oli) that made one item be added despite being sold out (not several items).

HHV will say that everything is correct and all it does is send a screenshot of payments/refunds from their system, not wanting to understand that there are glitches (like in the example above) and not once being capable of explaining where did the 19,59 applied to the item when ordering went after cancelling.

I've never seen anything so poor.

HHV asks for relatively high shipping costs and prices for non German customers are on average €1 more expensive.

I've been ordering for some time through HHV.
Twice they sent me records which had scratches. They let me keep the records (which I would have preferred to ship back) and offered me credit or a full refund.
It has now happened again with a record which was clearly sourced from their physical store, received with finger prints and a scratch at the start of the track.
They replied offering a 50% discount which is unacceptable, as I can't play this when djing because of the audible surface noise.
What a joke.
I also suspect that they reseal opened vinyl.
I will no longer be purchasing from them again.

I just ordered form hhv. and when got the confitmation mail. A worng size stood on the mail. So i reached out. And within 2-3 hours i Got a Messenge back from a Charlie. He/she didnt make me feel dumb in any Way, And made sure everything was under Control.

The ordering process was fine, the items were well packaged and arrived on schedule. There were serious issues, however, with the delivery via FedEx. They delivered my item to the wrong address and faked the recipient name(!). It took several days for me to track the package down (FedEx didn't bother to retrieve/redelivery it). During this time I reached out to HHV (12 August) to ask for help chasing FedEx. I received one initial reply email then zero follow up. Sadly, I do not feel I can place another order with HHV if they leave FedEx to do what they like and do not even bother to support me in tracking down the goods I paid for. Yes, this issue is mainly down to FedEx, but HHV took my money for delivery then failed to ensure my goods were received. Very disappointing.

Purchased two LPs which I can only be found online which I returned. Huge corner bend on the package translated inside and severely damaged the items. DHL or Postnord to blame I would expect. But, whilst oversized packaging is good for corner bumps, the package needs more stiffening than just the LPs inside. Unfortunately I will not buy from HHV again.
