An absolute nightmare

An absolute nightmare; as a consumer expecting goods from a reputable manufacturing company in Germany to be delivered to The Netherlands, everything possible went wrong; no delivery at the promised delivery date (date as communicated by email by DSV); no update for a new delivery date; no one at the Dutch office answering my multiple attempts to get in contact; etc. etc.

Updated review.May I add this new review to my…

May I add this new review to my previous review of the courier, DSV. Today I received my precious package after 6 stressful days of wondering what had happened after the delivery was not made on the agreed day. The stress was caused because, after daily updates by email of detailed itinerary, when the email said, "out for delivery " (and it didn't come), that was the end of any communication from DSV. The seller intervened and today I have my package. Please DSV, if the package has to be transferred to another courier (as in my case) let the customer know!!! I thankyou for my package but would have preferred a stressfree experience. ; so 4 stars for it's safe journey.

They had to organize the payment, but seems to be fraude

They had to organize the payment of furniture bought on Market Place (Facebook).
Payement on my account went completely wrong and instead of receiving a payment I was making one. Fraude in 1 word.
I had to trust them and they would repay the amount I paid to them ... but after 2 hours behind my PC, the situation was still te same.
I don't know what will happen next

108 kg of goods missing – €2,916 lost and five months of excuses

If you are considering entrusting valuable goods to DSV, think twice. Our experience with this company has been absolutely appalling.

On 12 May 2026, DSV delivered our shipment. Upon unpacking it, we discovered that 108 kg of goods worth €2,916 were missing. We also found damaged packaging inside the shipment, although there was no obvious external damage at the time of delivery.

We reported the shortage in writing on 20 May, within the notification period under the CMR Convention.

Five months later, DSV has repeatedly rejected our claim without providing the requested documentation or any concrete findings from its supposed investigation.

Initially, DSV claimed that our notification was too late. When we demonstrated otherwise, the argument shifted to the fact that we had accepted the shipment without reservations.

How is a customer supposed to know that more than 100 kg of goods are missing inside a pallet that appears undamaged from the outside?

We suspect that the pallet may have been damaged and repacked during transport, with some goods possibly left out in the process. We do not claim to know exactly what happened. That is precisely why we repeatedly requested transport records, handling documentation, weight checks and the results of DSV's internal investigation.

DSV demands that we prove what happened while our goods were in the carrier's custody, yet fails to provide the information that could help establish the facts.

Our claim has been handled by Ms. Helena Baykal, Senior Team Lead at DSV's Claims Handling Center. Despite repeated requests, we have received neither the supporting documentation nor contact details for a Czech-speaking representative or a person responsible for receiving a formal pre-litigation demand. Even our letter to DSV management went unanswered.

I seriously question whether this level of communication and claims handling meets the professional standards expected from a senior representative of a major international logistics company.

And the most astonishing part?

When we ask for an explanation regarding almost €3,000 worth of missing goods, meaningful answers are nowhere to be found. But when DSV wants payment of its outstanding transport invoice, communication suddenly works!

After five months, we still do not know what DSV actually investigated or which specific findings support its decision to reject our claim.

I am now seriously considering taking legal action or bringing this case to the attention of the media.

This treatment of a customer is completely unacceptable. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend DSV to any business that expects reliable transport services, transparency and fair treatment when something goes wrong.

A shipment dispatched five days ago…

A shipment dispatched five days ago from Täby to a destination within the greater Stockholm area (Uttran) has not yet been delivered. Given the short geographical distance, a five-day transit period for a small package raises concern regarding operational efficiency.

Furthermore, attempts to obtain a clear status update or timeline through customer support channels have been unsuccessful, as the provided assistance did not resolve the matter or clarify the package's current location.

Unhealthy atmosphere at work

As someone who worked there for over a month, I can say the atmosphere there is incredibly unhealthy. About 90% of the staff there are poles (including the office management), who snitch on each other, monitor you like a rabbit in a experimental laboratory, and report everything to the supervisor. I was fired without good reason, citing some "performance" and low motivation, as they put it. Moreover, I was not informed about any performance either on the first day of work or on subsequent days, nor from colleagues, and especially not from management, moreover, my colleagues told me that there was no performance here and there was nothing to worry about. That is, this reason was used only as an excuse, the real reason is unknown to me. What's more interesting is that I only found out about the performance the day of dismissal, during this time neither the agency nor the management, which consists of a supervisor, a team leader and several other assistants, spoke to me and saw me at work every day before the start of the shift and at the end of the shift EVERY DAY. Speaking about the work, I can say that it is not difficult and they pay a little more than in similar warehouses, but the team is extremely rotten and only the right people can work there for a long time. Regarding my motivation, I have a question: how can a person who does not even pick up the phone on shift and only goes to the toilet during breaks, and isn't late after breaks, as well as for the start of a work shift? Could it be that I'm undermotivated? Also, my job involves managing an EPT vehicle to deliver pallets around the warehouse, and all instructions are sent to a scanner. I don't even need to talk to anyone, so the work is nonstop. So how can I be undermotivated if everyone's EPT is moving at the same speed? While I thought I was doing my job well and management was happy with me, I was simply fired after just over a month without a second chance, without even discussing my performance, which was a big surprise to me. My wonderful agency, Otto Workforce, instead of standing up for me and defending my rights as an employee, simply asked me to terminate my contract voluntarily to get out of trouble.
Simply put, if you want to save time and stress, don't work for DSV in HAPs. As for the Otto agency, you can check any review page online; there are plenty of reasons not to do business with them as well.

Do not ever use

5 days in a row they row they said they would deliver but did not. They were supposed to deliver this pallet on the 23rd of September and today is the 2nd of October.

To top it off, I get a live eta update that it will deliver at 1239 and get a call at 1429 that they have gone to the wrong address!

They were given the correct address over 4 times via email and confirmed the address and sent the pallet to a billing address.

The customer service are all very polite but seems they do not affect any result of getting the delivery.

Even though we have suffered a monetary loss they have flat out refused any compensation for the inconvenience caused. I’d give 0 stars if I could.

£10,000 worth of Velux windows missing…

£10,000 worth of Velux windows missing in action!
Like so many have already stated fairly Sh1t! When you are spending so much with a company they really should think about who they use to deliver their goods. Their tracking system looks like it is stuck in the 1990s. This is their 3rd attempt not that optimistic and also wonder what state they will be in if and when they do arrive.

Worst shipping service experienced

Worst shipping service experienced to date

- First day: "Could not deliver" (I was at home, had to call them to find out)

- Second day: "Could not deliver" (I was at home, had to call them to find out)

- Third day: "Did not have time to deliver" (Wants to reschedule in 3 days)

Every time you have to call them to find out, no communication what so ever.

All delivery times 8-17, so had to stay home three full days to not get it delivered. Who knows if they will make it the next time?

Worthless company - DO NOT USE

Worthless company. Every time that this delivery service is forced onto me (by some storefront that didnt specify the means of transportation), I just know I'm going to have a shit experience and its true every single time.

The combination of 7.00 to 18.00 delivery window together with not being able to call in advance of arrival, and then canceling on that delivery day because they couldnt make even that delivery window, forcing me to stay home and wait for them a whole day more, still unable to commit to advance arrival call. No compensation, no apology. Just the worst and most incompetent company in existence with the worst and most un-empowered customer support.

PLEASE ONLINE STORES; Do not use DSV for your deliveries, for any reason, ever.

They should not be in business.

Worthless company run by worthless human beings.

Would give 0/5 stars if I could

Absolutely shocking service.

Absolutely shocking service.

I ordered a bath, and paid 200€ for delivery. The first one was 'lost' in transit - how can you lose a bathtub?!

The second is still floating around somewhere. The lady in Athens has been fantastic in responding promptly to my queries, but she doesn't have the answers and so refers them to the people who should have the answers. They have stopped responding altogether now. I've been waiting over a month for my bath. If anyone needs a good transport company, look elsewhere, this one isn't it!

Booked delivery missed, conflicting information, and DSV cannot locate the pallet

DSV has lost a large pallet of mine containing a 2m tall, 155kg smart home gym equipment. Tracking information is completely incorrect, claims that it was arrived at their depot - but their customer service claims it never arrived.

Horrible. How do you lose a delivery this large? Did your driver steal it? I've been making calls everyday and there is not a single status update.

I didn't quite understand those who…

I didn't quite understand those who gave more than one star; it's a shame there isn't a zero-star option. How can such incompetent, unreachable, and dishonest companies even exist? A delivery was expected for three weeks and never arrived, despite a hefty delivery charge. And when I went there to try and understand (the only way to get hold of someone), they had the nerve to say they didn't have enough staff and therefore no delivery was forthcoming. A word of warning to any companies that have been misled and are using their services.
