Our store has been in the same location on Stevenage Old Town High Street for nearly 50 years. There is free parking for up to 3 hours right outside the store, giving you plenty of time to browse the latest and greatest outdoor gear.
In our store, we match the prices shown on our website and can offer you extensive advice on the best kit for your needs.
We also specialise in offering fitting services for walking boots, rucksacks, ski boots and skis (please note ski boot and ski fitting requires an appointment). Our fantastic team want to help you get the best possible kit for your next adventure.
We now offer appointments for specialist fitting services and advice, but do not worry, you are not required to have a pre-booked appointment to come in store!

Easy to use
I used the click and collect option to buy a waterproof jacket and trousers. Picking these up from the Stevenage store was straightforward, and I had the opportunity to try them on to check fit before leaving with them.

Excellent quality products at very competitive prices. Got exactly the waterproof coat I wanted at the right price and the correct colour. Minimal packaging and timely delivery. Would absolutely recommend Countryside Ski and Cliimb to anyone wanting outdoor equipment.

I suddenly found the price in the…
I suddenly found the price in the basket increase - so I used the contact form to ask what had happened. I got a call back within 10 mins to say they'd literally just increased the price but offering me a code to buy at the original price. My new Scarpas arrived the following day. I'm impressed!

Expectations Exceeded!
Exceeded all of my expectations. This was my first visit to the site, and only visited due to Google price results. I ordered an Osprey rucksack on Friday afternoon for my wife's birthday as it was the cheapest I could find it. Site looked great and was easy to navigate.
Great first impressions continued with some good comms confirming the order. I was then amazed when my order turned up on the Saturday, under 24hrs after I'd ordered it. Perfect! Would absolutely use again and appreciate the great service.
