We're genuinely sorry that you were disappointed with your experience, and we've taken the time to review your order to understand what happened.
For clarity, your review states that the item was shown as "in stock" when your order was placed. Having investigated this, we can confirm this was not the case. The product had been clearly marked as "Back Order" on our website since 15 June, several weeks before your order was placed.
Your order was also for a quantity of six units. Even if this particular product had been showing as "In Stock", we would not typically hold six of these on the shelf at one time, so larger quantity orders often require additional lead time.
As soon as we received confirmation of the manufacturer's lead time, we contacted you immediately so that you had the opportunity to decide whether you wished to continue with the order or make alternative arrangements. We believe that communicating promptly and transparently is an important part of good customer service.
We fully respect every customer's right to leave feedback. However, we do not believe a one-star rating is a fair reflection of this transaction. The product was not advertised as being in stock, and we kept you informed as soon as we had updated information from the manufacturer.
As a small independent business, customer reviews are incredibly important to us as they help prospective customers decide who they can trust. We therefore feel it's important that reviews accurately reflect both the facts of the transaction and the level of service provided.
