I had a problem with a router motor. Customer services where very helpful and the problem was resolved quickly and effeciently.

Products seem good quality but. although branded, are sometimes very similar to other products branded differently.

Unless it is urgent is it worth signing up and reviewing their daily offers. Savings can b significant.

Their delivery is generally respected - next day if ordered before 1600. they refunded me my delivery charge the time it failed.

Customer service is appalling. Products are good for the money just be wary of problems. I experienced 2 problems with separate orders both resulting in abrupt unhelpful response requiring borderline argumentative correspondence. Customer service training for Matt would be good investment for raising ratings for the company

I have been buying Rutland products for some time now due to their quality, range of products and price , especially on offer days. Their delivery is next dsy.

I wanted a table saw that was light and easy to manhandle due to shortage of space but man enough to cut through
75mm timber and panels over 600mm wide. The Rutlands 210mm table saw is light and easy to carry around but sits firmly on the bench when in use. The fence extends out to 610mm and is very accurate and easy to use .The fence locking mechanism is very good but snaps on with a bang and the motor also starts with a bang but I will get used to that because once we are up and running the saw is a pleasure in use
The staff at Rutlands were efficient and very helpful to me as I had originally ordered the bigger 255mm saw which was more powerful but also too heavy for me to manage easily. So return, reorder and send with no fuss.

Machines don’t last and can’t be repaired.
I’ve bought several machines from Rutland now. 2 pillar drills, wood turning lathe, fine dust filtration and everyone has had problems with the PCB (primary circuit board).
Whilst their customer service is very responsive, the issue is the machines don’t last, they upgrade products frequently and can’t supply parts unless that version of the machine is still being sold.
They aren’t particularly cheap and at several hundred pounds a time, I’ll not be buying anymore.

Literally instant response to important customer query and initiative used to drliver a solution. Outstanding and exelplar.

Had an issue with my band saw. The communication was fanatic and felt reassured I was support. My issue was rectified. I will continue to purchase more things from Rutlands.

Always good service and great tools

Bought a sander and extractor set up ,the extractor motor went within a couple of months ,eventually they Sent out a replacement now that has gone and I'm less than a month out of the warranty period and there is nothing they can do ,cheap plastic chinese imports and shocking customer service, lesson learnt I suppose buy quality not crap Rutlands

I've been buying tools from Rutlands for a couple of years with very few turning up as low quality or poorly made. Their customer service is usually quite good, but recently, I was told that they will no longer be combining orders for delivery. I had three items in my basket - paid for - and so I asked if they could combine post for what I'd already bought before they revealed this new policy. But the customer service person I was dealing with said no.
I pointed out that they had been combining postage for months and months with no issue, but she didn't care, it made no difference. I pointed out that I wasn't asking for any special treatment, just for them to treat this last set of purchases in the same way they had for the many purchases I had made over the recent months. But, no.
When I expressed my unhappiness with this - not rudely or aggressively, just pointing out that it was poor customer service and that for the sake of (I think it was about £17 worth of postage, an absolutely miniscule amount for Rutlands, I'm sure), it would be conducive to good customer service and my continued custom, this woman decided to take it personally. I pointed out that I was unhappy with Rutlands, not her, but it made no difference.
It was like dealing with a child. This person clearly had zero business sense or even common sense and seemed distinctly unintelligent, generally. To say it was exasperating is an understatement.
I always try and support local businesses, UK businesses and avoid Amazon and the like where possible; but I ended up cancelling my orders with Rutlands, unsubscribed from their email list and have taken my business elsewhere.

All for the sake of a few quid and a bit of consideration.

Great sander

Another good purchase from Rutland's ordering process easy fast delivery and excellent customer service

Truth be told, ive bought a couple of items from rutlands. First the drywall sander, only used once waited 3 months for it, expecting it to be great, but will sat its ok ,its on par with the standard cheaper ones. Second purchase was the battery sander. Not that great a lot of vibration already taken apart twice to tighten base plate screw as either to short or the vibration spins it out. But what had annoyed me the most about this company, is the freebies sent to so called influencers. Just seen on Facebook one has received the extract sanders yes sanders, for free... the influencer uses festal why would they change and no they havnt, like all the influencers . This has very much annoyed me why should I/ we purchase your products when your giving them away to people who are not going to use them. Will not be buying anymore, will either stick to the better versions or cheaper. As for the rutlands purchases ive already got, well they are ok for the price..

Everything I have bought, from Rutland, has been of superior quality and well priced. And I have bought quite a few items, from clamps, to jigsaw blades, to motor driven router table lift.
