I first found out about RentHunter through a recommendation on Reddit while I was desperately searching for an apartment. What surprised me most was just how fast the platform is, and the fact that it automatically translates all listings into English, which made the whole process so much easier for me as an expat.
In my day-to-day routine, I use it by keeping notifications active on my phone and WhatsApp while I work, allowing me to react instantly whenever a new property matches my filters. The search and instant alerts worked perfectly—notifications usually arrive within 30 seconds of a listing going live, which allowed me to be among the first to apply and ultimately secure my place.

The houses are great and all the details are mentioned making the process very smooth and easy.

I find the service offered by RentHunter very good, although a bit expensive. I heard about it from many people (friends, other students etc) who suggested trying it to find housing, and I have to say that the website works well. I haven't used it very much in the last period, but I like how easy it is to find offers and how easy it is to filter them. Whenever I use it I spend a lot of time looking at all the possible houses and offers, and most of the times it is quite easy to find all the necessary info about each place (location, price...); however, it's impossible to contact the landlords if you are not paying the subscription fee.

I found RentHunter through google search, it surprised me it collected many of the rental options from many websites into one structured system, I currently use it daily, checking frequently for offers, as the alerts make it very efficient to look for a space.

I am happy about the alert function because finding the place to live can be competitive.

Access to RentHunter doesn’t necessarily include access to other websites, registration is still needed there, too. That can be annoying as it extends the application process and expenses

I get quite good listings and notifications through email. It is really helpful

Good so far but still waiting for more options

It was very useful because it really answered my needs, like location, price and space.

So far I was able to see lots of options. Sometimes the website can spam your mail account but I promise you all these offers help you apply to one in time!

they should make sure people upload pictures from the interior of the houses, but besides that its pretty useful

I like that i get announcements quite often about the places Im most interested in finding rent in, it has a great navigation system.

Maybe you could use ai or other tools to help find more suitable houses based off your search or just update the filter to really specific. Either way, great site and is very helpful in my current search for accomadation.

I am looking for an apartment to rent for 2–3 months in the Netherlands. RentHunter is helpful for finding available rental properties, but it would be even better if there were more affordable options for short-term rentals. Clear information about the total rent, deposit, availability, and required documents would also be very helpful. I hope to find a suitable apartment soon. Thank you!

It's very cool that the app sends you messages on whats up and that the app is looking for matches alone! Saves a bunch of time.
