Royvon Dog Training Reviews 

We tried out dog boarding with Royvon for our two Labradors on the recommendation of a friend, and we were not disappointed. From the first communication to the pick up and return home, everything went smoothly and the dogs came home happy and healthy. Our dogs are lively and excited, and need time to settle in a new place, which they got plenty of. The staff were excellent and we had detailed pictures and report on how the stay went. A truly personalised service. We have already booked our next one - definitely recommended.

My dog broke a tooth at Royvon - the second time - and the team and owner had no idea what happened or when. The owner brushed it off by citing that my dog is reactive; they claim to be able to handle any type of dog behaviour, and we had given them specific instructions for how to handle our dog, who has never broken a tooth anywhere else. The lack of care for my dog's safety was chilling. I'm only sorry that I tried Royvon again after the first time my dog was injured there, accepting their assurances that it was an isolated incident and that they would look after him.

Booked an assessment for my dog for dog for one to one training. Kelsey was excellent, very informative and explained everything to us. Needless to say will be booking Hendrix in for one to one training.

We have been using Royvon for several years and we trust them with our mini Pom after a couple of stressful episodes with other dog sitters/kennels that were poor.
Their updates are always well appreciated and I feel although the services are expensive it’s worth it.

I started bringing Ari to Royvon five years ago. I won’t consider another kennel. He enjoys himself tremendously doing all the activities. The genuine interest that every trainer has in all the dogs is evident to see. Thank you, Royvon!

Such a lovely reception from the staff when I arrived. Answered all my questions, did a great tour and were very friendly.

Kennels are of a good size and the outside play area is lovely.

The kennels were also very quiet. So often in a kennels all you can hear are barking dogs but the dogs appeared calm and relaxed at Royvon.

As a vet, I am not pleased
I used this service over the Christmas period last year and, unfortunately, my experience was disappointing overall.
Prior to drop-off on the 20th, I completed all requested forms (requested the day before) and also provided a printed document outlining both dogs’ personalities and, importantly, their dietary requirements. Both dogs require very specific diets due to medical needs—one has allergies and the other is prone to gastrointestinal upset—so this was clearly documented.
During their stay, I received some email updates. While the environment itself felt more akin to a shelter setting (with noticeable odour and frequent barking), I was reassured at the time that they were being cared for.
However, upon collection, it became clear that there had been a significant error with their feeding. Despite the documentation provided, the food was incorrectly labelled, and a 1.5 kg bag intended for one dog was fed to my 32 kg dog over approximately three days. After that, both dogs were fed the same food. As a result, one dog experienced an allergy flare-up and the other developed diarrhoea. Which I had pictures of.
I raised this with the team after collection. Initially, there was some confusion and denial. The issue was eventually acknowledged, but I was didn't like that I had not been contacted during the stay when the feeding error occurred. Communication was slow and, at times, confused on their end which give me a sense of total lack of organisation and oversight.
While I appreciate that the Christmas period can be busy, this was a paid premium period (approximately £800 in total), and I would have expected a higher level of care and attention—particularly regarding health-related requirements. I was not actively seeking a refund, but given the circumstances, I believe it would have been appropriate for this to be offered (which wasn't).
On a positive note, the training service provided was good. However, as a Vet myself, I found the standard of care regarding the dogs’ health and dietary needs to be well below expectations.

The Royvon team are really attentive and give updates over the stay. My dog is always sad to leave them!
