Helpful customer service
I was worried I was going to be locked out my account due to me been abroad and not having access to my mobile number. The young man I spoke to was very helpful and guided me through each stage of activating my account on a new device.

I love bills manager and virtual cards
I love bills manager and virtual cards. I use these every day. Really helps with budgeting. Great too for using abroad with zero fees. I use this as my main account and i find it easy to use. They have just introduced an easy saver with a good interest rate too .

Literally the very first payment I made…
Literally the very first payment I made on this business account was to my mum for a thousand pounds and it stopped the transaction and held it for over 24 hours. This to me is absolute insanity from a business account. I phoned up your customer services and they said there's nothing they can do about it. This is absolutely ridiculous, how am I supposed to run a business like this insanity

I was trying to enrol with a rival bank…
I was trying to enrol with a rival bank to obtain a card to allow me to go abroad and use said card exclusively for safety. The rival bank required me to jump through several hoops just to register and when a self taken photo was required for security reasons it continually told me I had been successful then immediately said I had timed out and had to restart the entire process. My patience ran out and having seen a Starling advert decided to give them a go. Within roughly 7 mins I had everything filled out, my security requirements had been met and pending their own checks I was organised. Whilst waiting for my card to arrive I transferred money I to the account with no problems, and on the arrival of my card I swiped it at a local shop for a first try, and all worked seemlessly. The app is straight forward, the language they use is fuss free and all in all I'm now glad I chose them. No regrets.
