They do not in fact insure watches in portugal and I had to cancel the policy which they did not refund.

Very poor service. Be careful of your location and what they will insure for that location as it is not clear.

Only advised that watches were Not covered in portugal after contacting their customer services. When I pointed out they actually advertised watch insurance i was blanked by them.

Almost a scam.

they were simply a better value and very prompt.

I keep getting spam emails from this company. someone signed up using my email address and there is no option to unsubscribe. (and I have previously unsubscribed from this company and they still send me their junk email).
If a company is too lazy to AUTHENTICATE EMAILS they are not doing the bare minimum to protect you from abuse, fraud, and identity theft.
My experience says someone will "reach out" and "apologise" and "would like to discuss".
No.
JUST AUTHENTICATE EMAIL ADDRESSES BEFORE SPAMMING THEM. It is easy, simple, and the height of laziness and unprofessionalism not to have it place.

Segugio have asked for my personal details "in order to verify I have had a genuine experience with their business".

I never had a "genuine experience" with their business. That is exactly my point. I don't want an experience with their business. I never supplied them with my personal email address. They are bombarding my email with their "business" and from their business partners such as Prima.it see below I'm happy now to expose Prima.it as well.

I would like to ask - what is their genuine business with me?

I won't give any of them my personal information because I know first hand how cavalier they are with personal information. Prima.it have sent me a TONNE of personal information of people as a direct result of FAILURE to authenticate email addresses. IT'S NOT HARD TO AUTHENTICATE EMAIL ADDRESSES. JUST DO IT! FIX YOUR SYSTEMS STOP ASKING ME FOR MY PERSONAL INFORMATION - FIX THE WAY YOU MANAGE PERSONAL INFORMATION INSTEAD

This should not expose any personal information of we, the victims, but will help Segugio and Prima to:
* identify my email address and in the process
* Identify where they failed to properly authenticate their customers email address and instead used mine
* immediately remove my email address FOREVER AND PERMANENTLY from their systems (do not even think about plotting an escalation of further abuse of my email address).
* seek to provide an apology to the poor person for whom they mismanaged their personal information by sending it to strangers
* pinpoint some of the gaps in their processes where they fail to exercise basic protections of the personal data of their prospective/current customers, AND the abuse of personal data who has nothing to do with any of it

for the love of god, just authenticate email addresses. and just stop emailling me.

I appreciate it FINALLY - after having to post on trustpilot - in your commitment to cease spamming me and to cease my second hand embarrassment in receiving personal and financial data of your customers. Thank you.

But again - you have failed to implement the one thing that will secure the data of your customers and avoid complications with people who have nothing to do with your company in future.

Just AUTHENTICATE EMAIL ADDRESSES.

Refusal to implement it will only certainly repeat the issue when customers inadvertently give you the wrong email address, a staff member makes a typo in entering an address, or a host of other situations when the wrong email address is used.

Please. AUTHENTICATE EMAIL ADDRESSES
