DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! See the other reviews as well. If you try to return an item they firstly try to convince you not to. They repeatedly say it’s costly and time consuming to do a return. They charge £9.95 for an exchange. They even offer you a 30% refund to just keep the stuff you have and only after 3 emails back and forth do they tell me how to process a return. They use fear tactics to encourage you not to return items in every email This is exact wording from the final email:

“Before proceeding with a return, it helps to be aware of some common challenges when sending packages back to China. International returns can sometimes involve additional customs fees, duties, or inspections, which the sender (you) may need to pay and can be quite costly. In some cases, parcels may also be delayed, held, or returned if not shipped under the correct terms, which can prevent the item from reaching the warehouse and delay any refund. Because of these uncertainties, the 30% refund option may be worth considering. It avoids extra costs, removes the risk of customs issues, and provides a quicker and more certain resolution.

Additionally, all packages must be sent as Delivered Duty Paid (DDP); otherwise, they may get stuck at customs. If any additional customs fees are incurred, these will be deducted from your final refund.”

No customs or taxes should be paid by consumers on returning items to original sender.

Oh and the product - a silver (they were gold) pair of sandals - is really poor quality and ironically arrived in a plastic bag with no forms and no information on how to return.

Not happy with my purchase or returns policy. I thought I was buying from an actual boutique in Manchester. Turns out the item is shipped from China & must be returned to China. It is not as described, badly made, much too big and of poor quality. When I fed this back the company offered me to choose another item from their online shop & pay a “small admin/postage fee”. There was no mention of what to do with the ill fitting item. I asked about physically returning the item & the cost & have heard nothing! My 14 day window for retuning is almost over so I’m going to have to write off £35. I feel as though I’ve been scammed & am not at all happy with the lack of transparency from this company. Purchase at your peril!

Very pleased with the blouse I bought but was surprised by how long delivery took. On the plus side though, the up to the minute tracking details were excellent and reassuring

My advice is do not buy from these scammers. They advertise they are a Manchester Boutique, they then send you items that are not as advertised , poor quality and from China. They take weeks to be delivered and then when you want to return they tell you it’s expensive to return to china and try and sell you other items at a reduced price. You are led to believe they are a uk company when purchasing. The items are poor Quality and sold at greatly inflated prices when you can purchase the same thing on Temu and Shen.

Dress is a bad fit, tried to email company. Email was Returned as it does not exist. DO NOT ORDER from this company. They send exactly the same carbon copy reply to everyone.

I purchased a dress which look fabulous on their website which gave me the impression they were in Manchester
It took weeks to arrive and when it did was shocked at the quality, was cheap polyester nothing at all like the photograph and then to top it all they want £25 to return it as it’s from China !
I feel let down and upset as I’ve just wasted my money

Made well just as I expected. Highly recommend this company. Any questions answered very promptly.

I ordered a dress from this company, but had to return it as it was too big.
I contacted their support team for advice about returning the dress. It took 3 emails before I had a response. This gave 3 options:
1) Exchange for another product- up to 20% of original item value- but had to pay £9.95 towards shipping
2) 30% refund, but keep the item (which doesn't fit!)
3) Full refund after returning the item to their warehouse in CHINA- which may take several weeks & carries a risk of non-delivery - so therefore no refund.
I have never had issues like this with any other company I have dealt with, and will definitely not be using this company again.

😡 SCAM !! Please don’t buy from Manchester Boutique😡 The website and customer service Looks and Talks a Good product… took 2 months to arrive . Customer service keep you informed that everything is fine . it’s clear it’s really a cover for awful goods from China .. I bought 3 dresses described as Crafted from a soft cotton blend, what I received was 3 large square shaped polyester 🫣 things ordered size 10 .. which said made in China on the label 😡the Bin is the only place for it .. the whole site is a scam cover .. no point trying to get your money back look at others who have tried .. too Frustrating!! No point wasting any more time with blatant Scammers .. I will go to Trading standers these people need stopping .

The items ( 2 laundry baskets) arrived and were exactly as described. I had offered the largest and they are huge! One for laundry ( even full they are easy to carry) and one to hold towels and throws for the guest room. Lost one star, slow delivery with only 1 update.

An appalling company. It appears to be based in the UK but all their goods come, after a long wait, from China. I ordered a dress which was advertised on Facebook. The dress that I received wore no resemblance to the advert. It was so dreadful it was almost comical. The lowest quality, unwearable. Forget trying to get a refund. You have to send it back to China with accompanying import duties or accept a 30% refund and keep the garment . I would not even give it to a charity shop. This company contravenes all UK trading standards. It masquerades as a British company to defraud customers. Steer clear of it.

Total scam. Do not buy anything from this awful company. Not based in Manchester; based in China. Item purchased was advertised as originally being priced at £79.99 but was reduced to £39.99. The photos on their website if the dungarees I bought were very cleverly done, making the item look like it was made from a variety of different patterned and plain materials which were blues and pinks predominantly. These appeared stylish and looked perfect for me to wear to my daughter’s gender reveal party. They arrived over 3 weeks after placing the order as coming from China; when I opened them up I was horrified. The material was badly printed to make it look like a patchwork of different materials. The hems of the trousers were completed in white cotton and looked like a child had been sat behind the sewing machine for the first time and told to have a go! The quality of the material is absolutely disgusting and the hem line of the trousers is so wide it looks like they were made for a circus clone to wear. To top it off, if I wanted to return them it would cost me approximately £25!!!!! I am going to give them to the local charity shop in the hope that someone will be looking for something hideously awful to wear for a Halloween party. DO NOT BE FOOLED INTO BUYING ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY - if I could give zero stars I would. You have been warned …

The dungarees I ordered took weeks to arrive. They are made of a cheap, shiny fabric and they are printed, not embroidered. The straps are not adjustable, because the plastic buckles aren't functional. Because of this, you can't adjust the length of the straps, which means the centre seam is painfully uncomfortable. I have contacted the company twice, because the dungarees are unwearable and I want to return them and get a refund. However, I've had no response from them,
Update: I have now got a response. They are offering to let me swap the unwearable dungarees for other items 'up to 20% of the value of the original order', with a £9.95 postage charge per item. Or I can keep them, and get a 30% refund. Or finally, I can send them back to China, at my own expense, and wait weeks for a possible full refund. Bearing in mind that the dungarees cost me around £60, I am very reluctant to pay them further postage costs. And I don't think a 30% refund for garments which are not wearable is in any way reasonable. I wonder what the Trading Standards authority would think about this?

Misleading company, wished I'd read trust pilot reviews before purchasing. It is not a UK based company, it is tricking you into ordering products from China which I would not ordinarily do. Expensive returns process as you have to ship it abroad to return. AVOID.
