Having a contract with MotorEasy made the whole servicing/MoT process extremely simple. I would wholeheartedly recommend them.
Louise from MotorEasy was very helpful, considerate and patient with my warranty claim. The situation was not straightforward - but Louise was able to help with the issues and to resolve them in a very satisfactory way. I think that MotorEasy are very fortunate to have Louise on the team
I regret purchasing a MotorEasy warranty, as my experience has been extremely disappointing from start to finish.
The main reason I wanted a refund was that the policy would not cover the cost of my air conditioning repair, which cost me over £1,700. This immediately made me question what the warranty actually covers and whether it is of any real use. In reality, the policy has proven to be worse than having no cover at all, as I have effectively been driving without any meaningful protection while believing I was covered.
Within the first month of taking out the policy, I realised it was not suitable for my needs and asked to cancel it. My request and complaint were not properly dealt with, and I received no meaningful response at the time.
The handling of my Jaguar I-PACE tailgate strut claim was equally frustrating. I was initially told that only one strut would be covered. Later, a MotorEasy representative telephoned me and told me to stop the repair because they would cover everything. By that point, after waiting so long, I had already bought a pair of second-hand struts myself. I was told MotorEasy would reimburse me for those, pay for two new struts, cover all the fitting costs, and that an email confirming this would be sent immediately after the call.
That email never arrived. No one called me back despite what I had been promised.
I then received an email from Tracey Allen, Customer Relations Manager, offering to pay for only one strut and less than half of the labour costs, with just two weeks to accept. I was away on holiday during that period and replied explaining that I did not consider the offer to be fair. I received no response.
When I contacted MotorEasy again to ask why my concerns had been ignored and why my earlier cancellation request had still not been addressed, I finally received a response from the finance department offering me a refund of £681.79. This was calculated based on the remaining policy term rather than the fact that I had requested cancellation within the first month.
I have also previously held a policy with MotorEasy which I never needed to use, but I still renewed it for another 18 months at a cost of £1,200. This means I have paid £1,200 for each 18-month policy, making the lack of meaningful cover even more frustrating. In total, I have lost approximately £2,400, in addition to the significant amount of time wasted in back-and-forth correspondence and phone calls trying to resolve these issues.
I have since raised the matter with The Motor Ombudsman, who has indicated that I have a case to pursue.
My experience has been one of poor communication, broken promises, long delays, and customer concerns being ignored. I cannot recommend MotorEasy based on my experience.

The platform is very easy to use. I had a small issue with billing but the Manager, Dane, was straight on the case, resolved the problem quickly and communicated with me throughout. I'd definitely use the company again.

The work was done on a Monday, so perhaps for this reason I didn't receive the advance notice the previous day. However, I enquired Monday am and was soon advised of an arrival time, and Gary arrived punctually. Very pleased to have the alloy restored to its pristine state. thanks

I took out a Gap Insurance policy for a 2-yr lease car. £12 per month just in case anything happened…. and it did. Whilst parked at Heathrow airport the car was flooded and deemed a total loss. Motorways were brilliant from the outset. Communication through their web portal was swift and easy. Crucially I wasn’t at any loss at all and had months worth of lease payments refunded to help with a new lease contract.
For £12 a month - you can’t afford NOT to use motorways……

Recently arranged GAP insurance on my new car and it could not have been easier. I originally spoke to someone who gave me a quote and sent me a link to their website so I could peruse at my leisure so that I made the right decision on what policy suited me best. I have created an account and now everything is at my fingertips. Price compared to other insurers very favourable.

Very quickly arranged and a very good repair carried out. Was only an indentation but removed magically to completely disappear. An all round brilliant service.

Process to buy was simple . Good communication as well. I have no experience of GAP insurance so had to go on comparison websites and motor easy had positive review, and the price was attractive. As for performance....well, hopefully I won't need to find out but there were quite a few positive reviews as well .
