I’d recommend Land and Sea to anyone wanting to upgrade or install leisure wiring system into their van. I’d been struggling with a previous fitter’s installation, Martin helped redesign the system to meet my needs, supplied the additional components and advised me remotely on what needed doing. He also supplied cables suitably cut and crimped to my measurements making the build much easier.
100% recommend for a really good small business focused on making sure you are happy with the products and service.

A friend of a friend gave me Martins number as i was having allsorts of issues ( electrical mainly ) on my vw transporter 65 plate,i made contact with the owner who was very helpful and his knowledge is second to none, he assesed what was required to correct the previous owners installation misfortunes ! After his tireless weekend work he had managed to re wire and install what should have been done in the first place 🙄 upon collection Martin talked me through the new equipments workings and the associated apps to download etc i would as a total novice van lifer have no hesitation in recommending Land and Sea to any upgrades or advice absolutely marvellous.

I recently had a diesel heater installed in my VW T6 camper by Martin at Land And Sea. From the very beginning, he couldn’t do enough for me, with advice, suggestions and flexibility for the installation date.

Upon meeting him, Martin and his wife welcomed me with a real Yorkshire hospitality. Very friendly and kind folk.

The installation was extremely tidy and Martin kept me updated with photos as the job progressed. Upon collection, Martin took the time to explain exactly how to use the diesel heater in layman’s terms.

Overall, I had a great customer experience with great communication from start to finish, and would thoroughly recommend Martin to carry out any conversions you require.

Martin helped me out on my self build campervan electrical system. I asked Martin to create me a full electrical system to suit my power demands for my van.

I had been looking for a decent battery for a while when I saw recommendations for Land & Sea on an online forum. I got the battery I wanted for less than I had seen it for sale anywhere else, and it was delivered the very next day. Martin was very helpful throughout the process, and I think in recognising me as a van-build novice very kindly offered me some great help and advice, for now and in the future should I need it. He is clearly very experienced in what he does, combined with great prices and fab customer service. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Land & Sea again, and definitely recommend to all.

I purchased a lithium 460ah battery and a couple of victron chargers from Martin at land and sea and it had been a pleasurable experience. Not only we’re the products delivered perfectly and on time, the aftercare and advice I have got from Martin is second to none. If needed Martin will even make up the cables you need and put the appropriate fixings on at the lengths required. I’m not sure you would get that helpful personal touch with most other companies.

I would highly recommend Land and Sea. A chance conversation with Martin led to many many more about my set up which “evolved” over time and Martin was always on hand for advice. Excellent customer service. Excellent knowledge and a very pleasant person to deal with. I would definitely use Land and Sea again without hesitation.

Known Martin a good few years before I heard he repaired vans so I thought let him have a go at mine and I can say it was the best thing I ever did!
The workmanship was second to none he asked what I wanted doing ( which wasn’t a small list) he pointed me in right direction to go with parts and quality. He kept in contact with photos and info all throughout the work, got van back and really happy it’s gone from covid ready firebomb waiting to happen to a perfect camper van😊

What a truely, knowledgeable, helpful and genuine person, Martin is. From replying to my query on a VW forum, regarding diesal heaters, to fitting the
Autoterm heater, in Betty, my T6 VW, he was exceptionally helpful and informative.

We had a good discussion regarding the positioning of the heater and outlet before fitting commenced. Photo updates were sent, during and after installation of the heater. Martin ensured I was happy with the positioning of the control panel, advising and guiding along the way.
As Betty was a new conversion and I am new to VW's, Martin highlighted a few other things that required following up with the VW converters, again his knowledge and experience were much appreciated.

All in all, Martin@ Land and Sea is true professional, whom I recommend highly, and most certainly will be using again.

Thanks for advice and a great price on a victron MPPT that I bought, very helpful guys indeed.

We highly recommend Marten at land and sea . Marten help us out of a what could of been a disaster with our night heater in our vw campervan. He advised us on our options , talking us threw each step of the way and us purchasing our new night heater . Marten then fitted it , to a safe high spec fully relocating the heater .
Hes a pleasure to do business with and is very helpful, and is well priced . We will definitely be using land and sea again for jobs on our vw campervan.
