It's almost a scam. Positioned as a trusted contractor to major brands they offer limited real insight and there is no warning that you are effectively signing up for a perpetual auto-renewal subscription. When you try to cancel the subscription, you are blocked online and the email address is unsupported.

Non-authorized subsequent full subscription.
I used Howly service once, and of course made one-time payment. But a week later, I was charged 45usd without authorizing the subsequent full subscription from my side. I contacted immidiately the Howly suport team, instead they offer me partial refund.

Misleading information
I wanted to use Howly only one time for combining different PDF files. The information on the Howly site is clearly misleading. I paid 0.95 euro and without agreeing l was locked in a costly subscription. Finally I managed to cancel this but without a correct reaction from Howly or compensation for months of payment. This aggressive marketing is not what you expect from a company like Howly.

I have a problem with a no refund…
I have a problem with a no refund booking (double booking by mistake) and it seemed desperate. It was a hostel in Paris and even though it was an honest mistake, they were playing hard to get. Howly's chat assistence helped me solve it, step by step, and I got a refund! :) I can only recommend this
