I wish I could leave a minus 1 review

I wish I could leave a minus 1 review. Simple said, Massive overpriced and terrible company. I feel we should all file a lawsuit over the "so called" services. The fact is this is Disney taking a massive bite out of all of us. Just read some of the MLB reviews. Enough said.

Wimbledon Men's Final

Trying to watch the Wimbledon Men's final, and I haven't watched one service game without it freezing up. Even the commercials freeze up!

If I could give minus star, I will

If I could give triple minus star, I will. The Wimbledon 2026 coverage is unacceptable. The company charges money for the poor, unreliable and often unaccessible service. I wish tennis channel or other networks will take over.

Wimbledon

This is the absolute WORST COVERAGE OF WIMBLEDON I HAVE EVER WATCHED. AND I have watched the Tennis Majors for decades. 15 minutes of ads that started at the very end of a set that I never got to watch. They simply cut it off. It has covered as much ads and media running their mouths as the matches themselves. Streaming is haphazard and promoting sponsors more than the actual game. Breaking news of LeBron James right in the middle of a match. It’s too frustrating to watch. So much for tennis coverage. You are ill equipped and obviously not interested. Give it to a network that actually cares about tennis and SHOWS THE MATCHES IN FULL!! So very disappointing and pathetic.

Absolutely terrible platform

It irritates me that ESPN forces you to sign up for their over priced ESPN Unlimited..but what really pisses me off us that it's an awful app.. it constantly freezes up , or stops and gives you an error message, or the picture is blurry.. if I watch the same content on ESPN on YouTubeTV it's fine.. fix it or give people their money back and let someone else broadcast the sporting events..

Is there any way to mute or disconnect the commentary on tennis matches? John McEnroe is not only annoying and irrelevant with his commentary he is beyond rude in talking through points with no respect for the players, viewers or the sport in general. If I had an option I would not be watching ESPN. Maybe I’ll watch BBC instead.

Where are the tennis matches that were promised?

I'm a big tennis fan. When the majors are on and I want to see every match as promised by ESPN,is now a complete fraud. I used to love ESPN +. But now they've made it ESPN Unlimited and they promise you will get to watch every match. As of today the first day of Wimbledon 2026 I could not find every match that was played. I am talking about matches that were actually played and completed that ESPN never aired. How can you legally say you will provide every match and on the very first day there's at least 10 matches you didn't aired. But since my hands are tied because ESPN is the only way to watch most of the matches in the US of the up and coming and not so prominent players, I purchased the package. Now before every match and every slight fast forwarding, you are bombarded with the same commercials over and over and over again. You're paying more for a higher tier and now they've added in commercials. That's if you can find what you're looking for to watch in the first place because the home page is so utterly convoluted. I wish they could come up with a price system for one type of sport. I am paying for all these other things I have no desire to watch just to get a little bit of tennis that they wouldn't even keep on long enough for you to watch on your day off from work. They remove them so quickly it's mind boggling. ESPN should take a lesson from HBO when it comes to sports.I can find matches on HBO that are 2 years old that are still there. You will never be able to do that on ESPN unlimited. And while I'm complaining about you ESPN you should remove John McEnroe as commentator and get someone who actually commentates. He's absolutely useless when it comes to the actual commentating of the match. I am so tired of his normal ramblings that I literally mute the TV when he's commentating. Which is sad because it's nice to hear the ball bounce when you're watching a tennis match. I will be canceling my ESPN unlimited right after Wimbledon is done. Unfortunately I'll probably have to order it again for the US Open. How they get away with this is unbelievable. Class action lawsuit anyone?

July 2 update.... After speaking with ESPN customer service I can find my lost matches by physically searching for each player that I want to watch. At least I can watch the matches but that's still a horrible way to find a match.

The app needs a reboot quite often

The app needs a reboot quite often. But the commercials volume compared to the volume of a ballgame is SHOCKINGLY LOUD and gives me anxiety every commercial. Y'all are breaking the policies and standards broadcast rules. Since it's an app you can get away with freackin my ears up. Not to mention you already have my $300 . This pathetic attempt to startle someone during a game that you've figured we might be napping. Just went to commercial for Mets v Philly game. I'm betting it's double the volume. I'm a disabled veteran w hearing loss and whoa it's loud. So in closing... YOU have my 🤑🤑 and now you're punishing me. Kool

The 2 yeah who’s on the AM ,all they do is talk garbage. What happened to showing highlights ? If I owned ESPN the 2 would be Doormen .Their is no consistency with the broadcast, show the same sports during that season, they show 1 sport and then go to a different sport. If Ohtani would have pitched a game like the MIZ on 6 / 12 that would have been the lead story, and also showed the Brew offense. Seems Large market teams are always # 1. I miss the old SC.

ESPN Plus is a horrible product

Obviously slapped together without serious support, frequent crashes, no evidence of product improvement or even any way to tell ESPN directly about any specific problem. They'll claim wonderful variety, but don't even allow a stream if it conflicts with one of their own niche cable channels (e.g. ESPNNews or ESPNU). They'll spend all kinds of time and effort advertising/marketing it, but can't lift a finger if something is clearly amiss - the definition of corporate greed.

ESPN+ is a sh*t-show. Go look up what users say.. constant skipping, freezing, low quality picture, constant issues. I tried to watch the college baseball and softball world series this year (2026) - and never got to see a full play without the damned thing stopping, skipping, picture being all pixelated.. I did EVERYTHING support said to do, from uninstalling/reinstalling the app, resetting router, etc., etc. But then checked on other users feedback and find they all have the same issue. Again, it's a real "sh*t-show!!"

The ONLY reason I got the ESPN is for wwe. But after the crap I have to go through to get to the program IN ENGLISH (clash in Italy) its NOT worth even $10.00 a month. I WILL be dropping it in June and only have Netflix. I will gladly spend $50 a month for AEW PPV on prime video. (Too many adds on HBO max )which I am also dropping. At least Aew does a 4 to 6 hrs of mostly wrestling not commercials. Wwe barely does 3hrs which is more like 2 hrs with so many adds. Espn is not what it was advertised to be. Shame on wwe for false advertising just to make a few million per ppv.

Just signed up for ESPN Plus on Amazon Prime. The navigation on the app is HORRIBLE! You can’t rewind or fast forward and worst of all, if you exit ain the middle of something and come back, you have to start at the beginning. And ESPN customer service is a joke. Done.

Hannah Storm does not fit !

Hannah Storm does not fit into the proper cast in commenting on Sports. She does not appear to have ownership of her presentations. It is clear she is ready a synopsis of content while she is live. A more informed spontaneous cast member would correct this error.

I don’t know what’s worse Disney or the fact that they bought a sports company and have no idea how to deal with the influx of streaming at prime time. I’m so disappointed in a major company like this.I can’t even watch my favorite sports team because it keeps skipping.
