Ferry cancelled – still struggling to get my refund
I booked a ferry ticket through Direct Ferries for travel from Gili Trawangan to Sanur with S’gening Fast Boat on 25 July 2026.
The ferry was cancelled, meaning the service I paid for was not provided. Since then, I have been trying to obtain my refund, but I have been unable to get a satisfactory resolution.
It is extremely frustrating to book and pay through a large international booking platform and then be left trying to chase both the booking agent and the ferry operator after a cancellation.
I expect Direct Ferries to take responsibility for assisting customers who booked and paid through their platform.
I am still waiting for my refund for a cancelled service.
Direct Ferries: please contact me and resolve this matter immediately.
I will update this review once the refund has been processed.
