Very dodgy firm

Very dodgy firm. I bought one of their products for our charity raffles. A day later received an email stating I had cancelled the product!
"Your order has been canceled
Order #22569 was canceled at your request and your payment has not yet been refunded."
Which I hadn't, I pointed this out in an email, twice to them, but no explanation received.
OK the money has been refunded, but the product is still up for sale: At 2x the price.

Reply from BritishGram

Hi,

Thank you for your feedback and we’re sorry for the confusion caused.

After reviewing your order, the item purchased was very short-dated stock and had unfortunately passed its date at the time of processing. To ensure we never dispatch unsuitable products, the order was automatically cancelled and a full refund was issued promptly.

We understand the cancellation message may have been unclear, and we apologise for not providing a clearer explanation at the time.

To clarify on pricing, the product currently listed is a new batch with approximately 1 year shelf life (expiry date), which is why it is priced higher. This is standard in grocery retail, where fresh stock carries a different value compared to short-dated items.

At BritishGram, we are proud to be highly rated by hundreds of customers and always prioritise quality, safety, and transparency.

We appreciate your feedback and will improve our communication to avoid this in future. If you’d still like to place an order, we’d be happy to assist or offer a goodwill gesture.

Kind regards,
BritishGram Team

My cat food order

As usual, BritishGram delivered on time. On this occasion they were next day. I did pay for delivery but expected it 3 - 4 days so they were excellent with their delivery time.

Best service

Very easy to order from. Great delivery service. Where we live this drink is unavailable and it was a request for Christmas by daughter as part of her present. I would definitely purchase from here again. 😊

Cheaper than anywhere

Cheaper than anywhere, I can order just the same flavour for my fussy day so no waste, quick delivery and excellent packaging. Impressed with every aspect of it. Only issue is I am disabled and courier will not leave parcel by front door for me so it is inconvenient for me to try and get to the door. I am happy for it to be left by front door so a neighbour can bring it in for me.
