I was down in North Devon on holiday. One of my two hearing aids was making a terrible noise and was unusable. I called the branch and spoke to Sharon (Reception) who was so helpful. She squeezed me in an appointment with Shaun (Dispenser). Shaun quickly identified the issue and replaced the part. Giving me helpful advice in avoiding the problem in future. I was so grateful as a long visit with only one hearing aid would have been so difficult for me, not to mention family! Great service, experience and expertise. I am very grateful to Sharon and Shaun for helping me.

Sharon and Shaun were exceedingly helpful in explaining how we could connect our hearing aids by WIFI to our TV using an Octicon TV adapter 3.0 device. We asked several questions and we were never hurried, they are excellent and so very helpful. And we are very pleased with the product which was very easy to connect and the audio is excellent.

Many thanks to the two lady receptionists Laura and Sharon for arranging my wife’s initial consultation with Shaun and all the follow up appointments.

Shaun is an absolute gentleman and a true professional at his trade. I had been informed by the NHS that they could do no more to improve my wife’s hearing and maybe a private hearing company could help.

Our neighbours had been given the same advice to go private and were delighted with the service provided by Audika Barnstaple. On their recommendation I approached the Audika team in Barnstaple.

My wife’s hearing was tested professionally by Shaun and on his recommendation we purchased hearing aids that actually improved her hearing so that she can now hear normal speech, and no longer has to have the TV on full volume.

At 83 years young she can now lead a normal life and hear without continually asking people to talk louder and can also have a normal conversation on the telephone.

A very thorough examination, followed by a recomendation, of what is needed. After my tests, i was given a device to try, i was so shocked at how poor my hearing was. I ordered the recommended devices, and had them fitted and callabrated to my needs. Returned 2 weeks later to see how i was aclimatising to them. It was recommended that i returned 2 weeks after that. At that point i had become used to them,and was very comfortable with them.

Always a nice experience to go to my appointment with Sean in Barnstaple. So very helpful and puts you at ease. Professional and friendly.

I attended an appointment at the Barnstaple shop today. Excellent experience made by the staff especially Shaun Samuels.

Sharon was incredibly helpful with her technical abilities and her delightful manner. I left the shop having had an outstanding experience of customer care.

I recently called in for more bits and pieces and advice. Service excellent. Sharon was very informative and patient . Can’t wish for anymore .

I am on holiday in North Devon and forgot to bring my hearing aid charger with me. Seeing that Hidden Hearing in Barnstaple were Oticon agents I enquired about buying a new charger from them. Not being a customer of Hidden Hearing I was amazed that they offered to loan me a charger free of charge for the week and they gave me a stamped addressed envelope for the return once I was finished with the charger at the end of my holiday. Apart from being happy to be able to charge my aids I am extremely grateful to the kindness and benevolence of the staff to help me.
What a marvellous attitude and many thanks to Shaun and Laura.

For somebody who didn’t think they had hearing problems, like me, Shaun has changed my hearing for the better. Thinking my husband mumbled, didn’t hear what I was saying and having the tv on loud volume. Well I can hear him clearly and tv now on low volume. Thanks Hidden Hearing and Shaun for making the process easy

Whilst on holiday in Barnstaple my husband had a problem with his hearing aid, we went into the Barnstaple branch and saw Sharon. She was extremely helpful and sorted the problem for him in minutres.

Sharon was patient, friendly and helpful. My hearing aids were fully serviced for me while I waited.
