Great guide. Easy to understand. She was very knowledgeable and did her best to share her city with us in an animated way.

Our driver, Alberto was excellent. He waited for our delayed flight and then we didn’t see him right away, so he walked over to us. He also helped us find our apartment because it was very late and dark and not well marked. He was a gem! I was very pleased. Give him a bonus.

Luke was an amazing guide! Loved his knowledge and fundamentally his passion regarding the history! Duration of tour just perfect too!!

The guide did not show up at all for the "Free" tour we booked in London Wed 21st October. Short time before the tour should have started we had receive a mail saying the meeting point had changed. It was too far away for us to be ontime. This "Free" walking tour really looks like a scam!

Good service, no complain at all!

I liked very much my experience with Civitatis. Drivers Mhady that took us to the hotel and Joan that took us to the airport were attentive and reached me out previously to let me aware they were ready for picking us up. The journey was great and I will surely use Civitatis in my next travel experiences. Thanks!

Everything went very well. Such a great tour. Savoca was so beautiful, and one hour and a half in Taormina was perfect. Everything went on schedule. Highly recommend

The tour guide never showed up for our tour of the Alcazar in Sevilla, Spain. It is impossible to get in touch with a real person. We arrived 40 mins. before the tour at the meeting point. We walked the entire area of the Alcazar and checked at the entrance if anyone from the tour had arrived. We even went to the tourism building for help. After many emails, and going through their automated online system, I have yet heard back from anyone from this company and still waiting on a refund.

UPDATE:
Only after posting this review on Trustpilot did someone from Civitatis finally respond to me. Unfortunately, I have received nothing but the same runaround.

Their response here is particularly misleading. They claim they cannot locate my case, yet I have an ongoing email exchange with their customer service department, and they have my booking reference and all the details of what happened.

This was NOT a matter of the tour "not meeting my expectations." We never received the service we paid for. We arrived at the designated meeting point, waited for our guide, and repeatedly attempted to contact the tour operator without success.

Despite having all this information, Civitatis continues to delay my refund while claiming to be investigating the matter.

I have spent far too much time trying to recover money for a service that was never provided. Their lack of accountability and dismissive responses have been incredibly frustrating.

I strongly recommend avoiding Civitatis. Based on my experience, their customer service is more concerned with offering generic apologies than actually resolving legitimate complaints.

i took a bus trip from madrid to toledo, segovia and avila in the summer, and the tour guide said something terrible -- when we arrived at the old jewish quarter of toledo, he asked the group, 'who killed jesus?' and he answered his question, 'the jews' -- i said that was wrong, it was a terrible thing to say, and that it's very dangerous -- he disagreed, and asked who did -- i said, the romans, pontius pilate, etc. -- we went back and forth for a few minutes

later in the tour, when we were at a workshop in toledo, the guide came to me and apologized, said that he was confused about the question of the divinity of christ -- i said that wasn't it, and repeated what i said before and told him he needed to say something to everybody on the bus -- he didn't

Citivatis booked us into a fee walking your in Granada. For the week leading up to the tour i received emails from them reminding us about the tour. On the day arranged we arrived 15 minutes before the scheduled time. Another couple that we know of arrived also. However no guide turned up for the english tour. I phoned the number given on the booking only to be told there were no english tours and there wouldn’t be. It was very disappointing to receive this bad service with no explanation of the behaviour.

Carlos was a wonderful guide, he was very knowledgeable and made the tour lively and interesting. The group of 8 was a perfect size to be able to ask questions and make steady progress without feeling rushed.

Our tour guide Anna from Ukraine is very good, knowledgeable and friendly. She was able to share with us deep insights about Paris and expressed her love for the city. The walk around Paris was fabulous and I enjoyed myself very much and gave Anna a nice tip.

The booking seems so easy. I even called them to confirm they could do a child seat for a private car to collect me from the airport, when I arrived at the airport the driver was not there. It was very hard to find contact for somebody at the time that I arrived at the airport. Finally, I managed to find the providers details which was not easy to navigate to on their website. Once I spoke to the provider 40 minutes after they was meant to arrive they informed me that when it was booked it was declined because they don't do child seats but nobody informed me and they couldn't collect me so I had to get a taxi and not use the service. I messaged and emailed several times to civitatis directly but it's now a week later and I still have no refund and no human contacting me. Only automatic messages that they're going to get back to me shortly and they haven't forgotten about me. How hard is it to Simply refund money for a service I never received through no fault of my own, I actually filled out a form in order to become an affiliate for them when I booked the car and I was going to give them a lot of customers through my website but they didn't even contact me back for that and I certainly won't be recommending them now. The communication is awful and non-existent so most likely this is a scam. Who knows if I will ever get my money back, following your response please see Civitatis - Re: Contact - Booking complaint (T3219468). You have a case open as per, please look further as this response just shows you haven't even followed your own complaint system your suggesting and of course it was ai response not a personal message.
The refund was received after 12 days. But still doesn't change the fact it was cancelled without telling me leaving me stranded in the airport in the middle of the night

Our walking tour in Zurich was absolutely perfect! In just an hour and a half, we were able to see so many of the city’s beautiful highlights without ever feeling rushed. It was the perfect introduction to Zurich and helped us discover which places we wanted to return to and explore more on our own. Our guide, Santiago, was incredibly knowledgeable, informative, and engaging. He shared so much interesting information about the city and its history, making the experience even more enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to start exploring Zurich. Highly recommend this tour, especially if it’s your first time visiting!

Very competent guide, very engaging

Terrible experience booking a car through Carjet. May as well be called "rent a wreck". EMR staff on the ground in Cappadocia blamed Carjet and said the issue was between me and them. I had to cancel our booking and book an alternative through Avis at spot rates. I wrote a complaint email to Carjet and no response. Awful. Book elsewhere.
