All I can say is ‘stay away’!
Leaving aside the small annoyances of not replying to emails, having to chase them down countless times and their fixes after snagging reports taking ages, the work that they have done on our building is shockingly poor.
After 4 years living in the building, 4 flats are heavily affected by water leaks from the poor insulation on the roof. What’s worse is that the building is timber frame, so a big part of the structure is now compromised and needs replacing.
All this has been going on for more than 1 year now and Crest and their contractors have still to agree on a plan to fix all of this.
Meanwhile, all the people in the affected flats need to live with holes in our ceilings, buckets to catch the drip water, mould and damp everywhere and unusable balconies.
I am sure there are other worse builders out there, but Crest should not be allowed to continue building anymore. And definitely do not trust their ‘high quality builder’ image that they are trying to push.
