Sorted feels like it was built just for my needs! With Sorted, I actually don't mind sorting expenses and paying VAT! The interface is really pretty and intuitive. It also provides guidance about what can be expensed, and for how long (e.g., an office chair needs to be split over X number of years).

It's also all available in English—that's a big plus for those of us still learning German. I've used their handy chat functionality to ask for help and every time they've been very responsive and helpful (also in English though German is available of course). They recently added invoices and I received a compliment on how nice my new invoice looks! I recommend Sorted to everyone I know who is becoming a freelancer.
