I am very dissatisfied with my experience with Flight Network and their refusal to take responsibility in any way regarding their own app problems.
I had a flight from Copenhagen (CPH) to Gdańsk on December 16, departing at 12:35. I booked the trip on December 15 and completed check-in the same day via the FlightNetwork app, which confirmed that check-in was completed.
When I later tried to access my boarding passes in the app, I received an error message. I assumed this was a temporary technical issue, as the app still showed me as checked in.
On the day of departure, the flight was delayed, and I arrived at the airport more than three hours before the delayed departure. At the airport, Wizz Air informed me that I was not checked in and forced me to pay a check-in fee of 710 DKK for two passengers, despite my explanation that the issue was caused by the FlightNetwork app.
Wizz Air has since told me to contact Flight Network for a refund, while Flight Network refuses responsibility and refers me back to Wizz Air. I am now stuck between two parties, even though the problem clearly originated from Flight Network’s app.
I expected a refund of the imposed check-in fee and cannot recommend Flight Network to anyone looking to buy plane tickets.
